Into Zul'Aman...

Postby Tasera » Tue Jun 30, 2009 11:40 am

The eve was beautiful one. The sun was gaining an orange hue as it descended from the sky. The glow it cast was equally as beautiful. Red and purples were now over taking any of the remaining blue colors of the daylight. Things had been incredibly busy for her guild mates, that’s at least what Tasera had figured as the days went past. There was little talk about the previous attacks. They had gotten Leo back successfully, then all seemed to get quiet, as many, especially Theotaz, began to seek out methods on how to infiltrate the alliance.

Tasera seemed to be removed from all that had been happening, or at least removed from all the most recent events. She seemed to be spending most of her days fixing and preparing for her many stabled beasts, or even more so, curiously exploring the realm of Zul’Aman. A fascination had grasped her with the proud troll kingdom. Though it was not like her presence ever went unnoticed. She stuck out like a sore thumb around the fierce and bloodthirsty forest trolls. Not only was their garb far more primitive then the mail armors she adorned, but their stature made Tasera look almost human sized in comparison. These forest dwelling trolls were massive, not skinny and lanky like Tasera’s jungle troll relatives. They had no problem throwing their weight around when they spotted the little jungle troll invading their territory. Lucky Tasera, not only was she more experienced, but her bullets made short work of any attacker from a distance.

One day of these explorations, Tasera found herself going deeper into the ruins slinking around like a feline, to try her best to avoid any notice. Then, something caught her attention. On the ground was an Amani forest troll, his body gruesomely sliced and diced from a well-honed sword. She investigated the body further, as well as the powerful hound behind her. Despara growled and looked at Tasera as her curiosity got the better of her, and she continued forward. With her polearm in hand Tasera pressed on, noticing more troll bodies littering the ground at her feet.

A light with movement caught her attention up ahead, her heart began to race. She stopped for a moment, then peered out through the bushes. An alliance encampment? She sneered and began to ready her gun, she may not have befriended the Amani, in any way shape or form, she rather see Amani killed by fellow trolls over the foolish alliance. But just then another sight caught her keen eyes, over the wide expanse she saw an orc, then two..then three. A few darkspears mixed in the bunch as well. Curiosity soon got the better of Tasera and the female troll moved out of the bushes. Her eyes opening wide with what she saw.

“Da gates ta Zul’Aman…” Her eyes almost seemed to sparkle as she looked at the towering entrance to the grand, an ancient troll city. But why, why would the horde, and alliance be so interested in such a place? Moving forward through the alliance and strait towards the gates, the huntress eagerly wanted to get a peak inside, but as she immediately began to walk in, a powerful hand stopped her by the shoulder. Turning around she saw a powerful orc looking her dead in the eye, “I wouldn’t do that if I were you” his voice stern.

“Why?..Wait wait…” Tasera turned to face him, “Whats wit all dese people here. Why are da alliance on dese troll grounds?” she asked, with a furious fire in her eye.
The orc turned and spit to the side before looking back up at her, “There has been an increase in hostilities lately, little Troll. Not only between the Amani and Alliance, but the Amani and us. They have been sending parties out to attack both Horde and Alliance. These attacks are organized. Something has changed with the forest Trolls, they used to be so disorganized and unsure about everything, but suddenly, something seems to have brought their race together…and we are pretty sure who…”

“I say it’s Zul’jin! It’s gotta be Zul’Jin,!” A quivering voice appeared behind them as an old troll slowly made his way up the long row of stairs to where the huntress and orc were standing.

Tasera’s eyes once again lit up with that sound of that name, “Zul’jin?! De Zul’jin?!” Tasera turned and looked like she was going to just walk in there but the orc pulled her back, “You an idiot troll or something?!” Tasera turned and glared, but she was cut silent by the old Witch Doctor, who pointed through the gates, “I saw a vision. Dere was bad voodoo happenin’ behind dese walls. Da Amani, dey be calling upon their gods, I have foreseen nuttin but revenge an hatred. Dey kill Alliance..AND da Horde. If my visions be correct, and dis is Zul’Jin orderin’ da attacks on both forces.”

The orc beside the two growled, “I don’t care what kind of presence he had amongst all of troll kind, we need to go in there and KILL HIM!”

The witch doctor’s eyes narrowed, “He is a great leader ta our peoples, we need ta try and negotiate again before da alliance go crazy and send dere men in to da attack!”

Fist clenching the orc glared, “You saw were negotiating got as last time. The moment that crazy troll saw that we allied ourselves with the blood elves, he only wanted to see us all dead. Even the darkspear! You saw it, you even said yourself that he had a heart bent on revenge now, do you think negotiating is going to change his mind!? We need to find a strong group of warriors to go in there and take him down before he gains too much of his former glory and whipes out our forces!”

The old troll snarled, but went quiet for a moment, holding onto his old gnarled staff for support he looked from side to side and then something struck him, “Were did dat little huntress go?!” The orcs eyes opened wide, and he turned to look right in through the opened gates of Zul’Aman. “She was an idiot…”

Inside, Tasera once began to slink, curiosity having gotten the best of her. She had taken the aspect of the beast, to better traverse the grounds. She had a sly smile, and boosted confidence as she had managed to go, in her eyes, pretty far without being captured. She rounded a corner, and stopped, her eyes finding a terrifying sight. A witch doctor, he was chanting something. The fires around him began to flare, A vision of a great feline appeared before him, and the fires swirled around his body. There was a powerful roar. And the witch doctor’s body shifted. He transformed into some manner of humanoid cat, not unlike the possessed priests and priestesses did with in Zul’Gurub. “Is dis what dey were talkin’ about, dis …” She turned slightly further around the corner, and there he was, watching this witch doctor change shapes. He laughed, cackled even at this sudden show of power. The look in his eye was that of pure joy, and also hatred. She noticed too, that along with an eye, the mighty troll leader was also missing an arm. She wanted to get closer, she had to listen in. she was no rogue, but some how she managed to get this far without….

A searing pain over took her abdomen. She looked down, a massive dagger penetrating through her armor and into her stomach. Blood was spilling between her fingers and as she held the handle of the blade. She peered up in the rush and saw three Amani warriors come at her. One sending his fist square into her jaw and making her lean frame fly back against one of the massive stone walls. “Zul’Jin!” one of the brutes yelled, “Zul’jin wes have a horde spy in our midst!”

They dragged her body out and slammed it on the ground. Using her hands, she started to lean up as best she could in the pain she was in. One dagger and a punch, this shouldn’t have been all that could send her to her knees, but she was on the ground bleeding badly, and her muscles quivering. The dagger must have been laced with a poison. As she reached down to try and pull out the dagger she suddenly saw a pair of troll feet in front of her. She stopped briefly and looked up to see him, starring down at her with one, very angry eye.

“Dey unda estimate me! Da foolish horde, send only one in?! An she doesn’t even have any way ta stealth!” He breaks into a furious laughter.

She wanted to speak up, she wanted to say that she was only curious, that she was not a part of the forces outside the gate, but she couldn’t. The poisons kept her silent.

“Poor little huntress.” He sneered, “Put ‘ere body near da gates, spear her to da ground and let it be known to da alliance an da horde dat dere fate will be da same as dis little female!”

Tasera’s eyes looked up in horror, as they began to drag her body off, spears in hand. She looked to the side, and saw Despara slinking back. She made eye contact with the beast, and gave him an order that just brushed across her lips. “Get…Get Lah..Aitana, or..Warburn..tell dem…get them to…” her eyes shut, and she blacked out with poisons rushing through her veins. Despara yowled and left in a rush, running as fast as his long lgs could carry him. He looked back once to see the vengeful Amani spearing her hands to the ground just past the front gates.

Despara set out of Zul’jin’s stronghold the way she entered with her mistress. A few hours ago they found a spot a bit south of the main gate, on the hill. The high spiked log wall, had a tiny section which was especially wood rotted. Despara was actually the one who scraped a hole in the wall. Tasera would remember fondly how Despara had enjoyed snapping her jaws, trying to catch some of the enraged termites out of the swarms that emerged.

By the time Despara emerged from the hole she dug not a couple of hours ago, the termites had disappeared. And the play she had then was all but gone from her mind. This time she was running, not so much to evade the pursuing Amani Gurads, but to get help for her mistress. She practically flew out of the entrance she had carved, and was about to run as fast as she could touch the ground again, when a long shafted arrow hit her. Down she tumbled and rolled.

Somehow, bless the Loa spirits Tas’s dearest hound made it to Silvermoon. Despara knew where to go. Just the previous day Tasera had come to Silvermoon with Warburn. They always enjoyed traveling together, and he had business in Silvermoon. The Shaman Elder was going to the Onyx Tower – to meet Lady Nyx. They were to discuss Warburn go on possible meeting with Commander Leikos to stop the aggression between the Horde and the Alliance. Tasera being much younger then the shaman thought such talk was useless and just that - talk. She chose to go exploring the Ghostlands.

When Despara arrived, Nyght was on guard duty. The Death Knight was like a golem, he could stand un blinking for weeks, but hear everything, and act instantly. The hound’s whimpering and clawing at the door, were followed by a loud growl and jaw snap sound. One of the Blood Elf guards must have tried to approach the wounded demonic hound. Eyesore opened the large door and let Despara in, and waved the curious guards outside away.

Within moments Warrburn had the poisoned arrow pulled out of Despara’s thigh, while Lady Nyx patted Despara and said some powerful words of mending to the hound. The troll stood up and took a closer look at the arrow he held. The wood shaft was a strong reed. Hollow but thick. The fletching was what seemed to be dragonhawk feathers. And on the massive head he noticed some letters painted.

Forgetting anyone was right next to him, Warburn yelled

“By dah Loa, dis be Amani!”

Turning to Nyght he ordered:

“Tell Lah we continue with our plan we discussed. Remind her dis needs tah be a secret we can’t alarm our brothahs an sistahs who are hell bent on staying at war. But first I needs tah go find Tasera!”

Warburn jumped into a flurry of activity, gathered some things he might need and rushed out the door into the gathering night.

After Warburn had hurried out, Despara was not long to follow, yet instead of trailing behind the hurrying troll, Despara made a swift turn to find his way south. Far past the ghostlands and then to the west, towards the glades. In the Trisiful, the hound caught a scent. The smell of a bum like female troll, with curious always blood shot eyes and a pension for laughing about nothing wafted through the air. Despara always sensed Tasera's hatred towards this troll, but in the opposite, she knew this little shaman looking up to Tasera like a big sister. Despara had to let Shidomae know, some how.

Despara ran up, tail wagging, but whines were coming from his mouth. Whines and whimpers that were quick to grab the trolls attention. "Aye Lil' mon. Were be Tasera?" the raptor she was on hissed in displeasure at the creature that ran around his legs like a fly. A few times he tried to nip Despara, but the swift hound just dodged and continued to whine. She quirked a brow and jumped off the back of her angered raptor.

The moment she hit the ground shidomae was greeted by a series of licks to her mouth, then bites and tugs at her cloathing, “What in da name of da cursed Hakkar be you doin?!” Despara kept trying to tug at her clothes, “Gah were be Tasera when yous need her! Can’t control ‘ere animals today I tink. Next ting yous know Bane be trudgin’ tru da forest and ram me over!” Having enough with the canine’s antics, Shidomae went to Brill, she found the undead horse stables and demanded that Despara stay in a stable until she fetches Lah. Recognizing the name, Despara sat on his haunches. Catching his breath and waiting.

“Hmm, look at Dat!” Shidomae said with a sense of pride, “I can control Tasera’s beasties! Maybe I should’ve been a hunter!” Shidomae called for her raptor, the hounds strange behavior made Shidomae’s hair literally stand on end. Despara would never be separated from his mistress, no only that, there was blood all over the demonic hound’s coat. She needed to find Lah, and quick.

Outside of silvermoon, Shidomae found Lah going through the final process of initiating a new recruit. The shaman waiting to approach when the new member had left, and also the rest of those watching the event, Shidomae came towards Lah.

“Sistah, dere be bad Voodoo in da air. “

Lah peered up and looked at Shidomae, “What is it?”

“Tasera’s hound came runnin’ up to me earlier dis day. He be tuggin’ an’ whinin’. Pulling at me clothes and wouldn’t hush up till I put ‘im in a stable in Brill. “ Shidomae paused, then continued, “But what make dis weird is, Tasera is nowhere to be found and Despara be covered in lots of blood. His fur be soaked wit it. I don’t know what’s up, but I not be likin’ it.”
Asarelah thought for a moment then looked back up at Shidomae, her voice and expression became more stern, “Take me to Despara, that hound would never be separated from Tasera unless the situation was urgent.”

It took the two only moments to get to Brill, thanks to the teleporters within Silvermoon and Undercity. Shidomae had took Lah to the sables were Despara paced anxiously. The first thing Lah noticed was the dried blood caked on his fur, as well as the mysteriously healed injury at his haunches. Lah opened the door to the stable and kneeled. She greeted by a line of licks to her face, followed by the whines and whimpers of the clearly distressed hound.

Lah carefully examined him, noticing how large the healed wound was. “Poor thing…Shidomae!”

Shidomae stood to attention and peered down, as lah gently spoke, “I’m going to need you to hold onto Despara, I am going to see what happened.”

The shaman nodded and sat onto her knees, holding in one hand the beasts collar, while her other hand gentle patted and stroked the mighty creatures back to relax him as Lah dove into his thoughts and memories.

“Keep him still,” Lah commanded. And Shidomae followed, doing her best to keep the anxious canine from moving too much.

Lah closed her eyes ad began to see images from Despara’s memories. She could hear Tasera speaking, “There is something about the Amani.” Lah whispered and shidomaes ears perked inquisitively, “Yes..Amani….and now, there is a conversation…something concerning Zul’Jin and Zul’Aman.”

Shidomae’s eyes busted open wide and she nearly flew back in shock, “Zul’Jin?!”

Suddenly Lah buckled in pain, the next set of images came at her fast, she could see Tasera being tabbed through the gut and thrown like a rag doll, There was a distinctly masculine troll voice in the background. The image jumped, Despara was running, and looked back to see his mistresses hands being speared to the earth.

“By the heavens!” Lah pulled back and stood, “Another one of ours has been taken.” Lah gathered the few things she carried with her, “I must got tell the oracles at once!”

With that, Asarelah left in a rush. Leaving Shidomae with the whining Despara.

Asarelah gave Despara one last loving pat, summoned her Warhorse, and headed to the Nyxian Compound. Wasting no time with trivialities, she brushed past the honour guard, not waiting to be announced.

"ORACLE, I come to report grave news !!" Lah ran in, shouting, not caring who heard her. She came to a sliding stop before Aitana, who was deep in study, of an ancient scroll held close to her eyes.

"Despara has come in gravely wounded, and without Tasera!! Shidomae helped me with him, and I Mind Visioned Tas... She's been stabbed, and taken by the Amani Trolls, and I clearly saw Zul 'jin in Despara's eyes... And I believe they have taken her into Zul 'Aman....

Aitana looked up in alarm. "What do you mean? What happened? How did you get this information?"

Lah shook her head, "I told you, I had Shidomae hold Despara and Mind Visioned Tas through his eyes!!"

Aitana leaps to her feet, dropping the already forgotten scroll. "We have to go find her! GUARDS! Summon Leothiel and tell him Urgent."

"Aitana, Shidomae told me that Warburn has already gone in search. I will catch up with him, while you get a legion ready to ride !!"

"Nightwarder!"

Nyght's sharp shout halted Asarelah's rush. She turned as he approached her, her eyebrow arched in seeming irritation. "I don't have time for this, Nyght, I must..."

"What you 'must' may not be up to you, Nightwarder," the skeletal death knight interrupted. "Oracle Warburn dispatched me to find you. He knows of the attack on Tasera, and hastens to her aide. I am to relay his order that you continue with the plans the two of you previously discussed. And, to remind you, the situation needs to remain a secret."

"A secret? A secret! When Despera arrived covered with blood, it was a mite too late for secrets!"

"Nevertheless, Nightwarder, he does not want you to, and I quote, 'alarm our brothahs an sistahs who are hell bent on staying at war.'" He stood unblinking, eyes glowing, apparently unaffected by her emotional state.

Asarelah grimmaced, but nodded her reluctant compliance to the request.

His task completed, with a respectful bow, Nyght deferred to his superior, and withdrew.

POSTED IN BEHALF OF THEOTAZ, by Asarelah on 05 July 09

Warburn announced his intent to storm Zul'Aman.. Apparently Zil'Jin had captured Tasera. She had not been with the warband and he had wondered why. Now he knew.

He had called for Warburn to await him. A small war party had gathered round and thundered into Ghostlands and the ancient troll city of Zul'Aman. Zul'Jin's forces never stood a chance against the enraged forces of Nyx. Tasera had been recovered, her wound grievios and extreme. Zul'Jin and his priests payed for the affront with their lives screaming dire threats as they died to the last. Thoetaz suspected demon taint from Zul'Jin's service with the Horde during the second war might have had something to do with it.. none the less they had been preparing to sacrifice several victems to the old gods of the trolls. The sacrifices were freed with out harm. and vengence taken. Zul'Aman would no longer be a threat to the peace..

POSTED ON BEHALF OF TASERA, 05 July 2009

Tasera had been sleeping, or at least trying to too. The pain in her stomach was immeasurable, and moving her hands too much just caused even more pain. Her muscles ached, and her lungs protested with every breath. For a small second Tasera was getting comfortable, starting to drift to sleep when her ears picked up the sound of trolls feet just outside her place. She had left the inn she was staying at to make her way back to her home were she felt it’d be more quiet and more comfortable, but maybe she should have stayed in the inn which was far more comfortable.

She wondered who it was arriving to her door, but she didn’t want to go see. With every movement there was some manner of pain that made her remember what just happened the previous night. It was nothing but a strand of loose thoughts that she had not completely gathered. She remembered lying there, then suddenly healing spells had rolled over her constantly. She opened her eyes and saw Warburn. She remembered the sight making her heart swell with happiness. Then behind her Theotaz had arrived, his ghoul in tow. There was an exchange of words, she couldn’t quite understand. Then other had arrived, her memories started to clear. As her senses began to focus themselves, Warburn had ripped open his own shirt to use as a bandage to wrap around her midsection to secure the bleeding. She had lost a lot of blood, as was clear by the pool surrounding her.

As others arrived, she felt herself regaining some amount of strength to her name. Warburn hoisted her up and held her around the shoulder. As logic came back to her senses she noticed that the others were very intent on battle. Even in her condition, she did not wish to go with out them, and was quick to search for her armors, which were scattered over the place. She drug along behind the, but managed to keep up. They laid waste to every one of the Amanis avatars. The Hex Lord Malacrass who was more then likely the evil mind behind this, dropped like a fly to the enraged crew of Nyx. Zul’jin, was then promptly killed, in all his might right after the hex lord. Tasera got the revenge she wanted.

Tasera had hope, that the foot steps disrupting her sleep was those of Warburn, but instead she was greeted by Akeagoro’s pale features and haunting, glowing eyes.

“What’choo want?” Tasera protested in a mumble, rolling around in her covers.

Akeagoro, faintly smiled, and said in her usual monotone voice, “I came to... inform you about last night’s events Lady Tasera.” The huntress grumbled, “You picked a fowl evening to be taken by a group of enraged forest trolls.

“Spit it out,” Tasera snapped, wanting to hear no more of her stupid decision.

Akeagoro chuckled, “You’d be best to hear it from the others, but, we had a fair battle last. Apparently Warburn and Asarelah went to speak with the Alshar about…some sort of…diplomatic issue. I am not quite sure of the details. It fell through…clearly. We had a blood soaked battle, and apparently taught the alliance proper manners. Though it appears Oracle Aitana has left for the moonglade, this attack on the alliance I think was unwarranted, and Nightwarder Asarelah is still convinced on the trustworthiness of their commander, Leikos. Warburn, as well does not agree on the nightelf’s honor, there was some manner of argument towards the evening, and after that, Warburn went to find you.”

Tasera groaned, wanted grasp the covers, but couldn’t with her hands in the mangled shape they were currently, how she managed to hold her gun to fight Zul’jin ,she’ll never know. “I see….well leave me be, guard da place. Da only visitors I want in if dey show up are, Lah an’ Warburn. “ the huntress grumbled, “I want to know what da hell Lah is tinkin’.”

POSTED ON BEHALF OF WARBURN by Asarelah on 05 July 2009

Hours passed since he and Lord Theotaz, together with Raphusum the Hallowed, Perten, Op, and a few others, had found Tasera. He was still furious by being betrayed, not only by Leikos but also by Asarelah that he needed some time and space. After riding the forests alone for a few hours he decided to go check on Tasera.

He reached her hut, Akeagaro was standing guard. Motionless, much like Nyght did back at the Onyx Tower. As soon as she recognized the shaman she opened the door for him to enter. Warburn set his shield and dagger aside, and dropped his packs gently in one corner.

Tasera was trying to sleep, but was in obvious pain. Warburn stepped closer and touched her forehead with the back of his paw. She was hot and sweaty. He peaked under the sheets and noticed she was still filthy and grimey, and she still had his shirt tied around her, blood soaked. In fact she was so dirty her bed was littered with dried blood flakes, blood stains and grime.

The shaman held a water skin to her mouth and squeezed lightly. And after Tasera took a sip he wet a cloth and laid it on her forehead. He then stepped outside.

"'Garoo, I need to clean her, and soothe her pain before a fever takes hold. Go inside, undress her, and wrap her in a clean blanket. Call me when you are ready."

Warburn stepped out into the garden and walked toward the little spring waterfall. He put his water totem near the stones and markings Theotaz had left. The round basin Grand Master Engineer Theotaz carved out near the falls, and which was lined with river stones held by mortar was where Warburn was headed. With his water totem in place, and a shaman ritual performed the stone and earthen tub filled with steaming bubbling water.

Just then Akeagaro gave a whistle from out the window. Warburn lit the incense burner Theo had crafted and headed back to the house. Tasera was now shivering, naked but wrapped in the blanket, he carried her outside. He dipped her toes in the water. Tasera snarled, and clawed his back. But once she got used to the wetness and temperature she she relaxed and he slowly lowered her into the tub.

They talked a bit, but it was more Warburn doing the talking, she was too weak to say more then a half sentence here and there. But as he washed her, she did manage to shine him more then a few tusky grins. The shaman confided in her as to his doubts about Lah's loyalty, and as he said that he looked over to in Lah's home direction. He knew Jeridan and Leothiel were over there now, for they both pledged to guard her from harm. He mentioned how he feels like he can't trust anyone anymore - that he suspects almost everyone to be against him.

When Tasera was finally ready to come out of the water, Akeagaro came up and both her and Warburn helped the wounded Huntress out of the steaming natural tub. Tasera got wrapped back up and Warburn carried her back into her bed, which Akeagaro had already refitted with clean dressings.

They were tired.

MOVED ON BEHALF OF TASERA by Asarelah on 05 July 2009

Tasera was still silent as she was being carried back to her bed. Her body still protested over the remaining Amani poisons that her body was trying to purge. She moved an arm, it hurt. She moved a toe; it felt like the bones were scraping together. So it was no suprised that every mere breath was painful. Every moment Tasera could think clearly, she was wondering, trying to tell herself she has been through worse, but in reality, she hasn’t. She had never been in so much pain that she had to be carried just to be properly bathed. What a stupid fool she was, and she continued to scold herself over and over again for the poor decision.

The huntress would not deny though that the bath was a welcomed relief, she swallowed her pride, or as much as she could. The warm waters soothed her, and it felt great to have all the dirt and dried blood off her body. Any moment Warburn got near the wound with the washcloth, she would pass a sharp gaze onto him, silently demanding him to go no nearer. She felt incredibly relaxed though, and when moment came to be lifted from the tub she could already tell her joints felt just, slightly better. Maybe she would get some rest after all.

Akeagoro smiled at the two as they entered, “I changed the sheets Master Warburn, as requested. Now if you’d excuse me I’d like her to get into some clean clothes.” Akeagoro smirked, and showing a surprising amount of will for such a command following Death Knight. She literally pushed Warburn into another room as she removed the towel from around her body and quickly, gently dressed Tasera in a long, loose night shirt. As well she changed the bandages over her hands and abdomen.

Warburn on the other hand was confused, she had not pushed him into a room, but a broom closet that now had him in the dark, “Ah…can I come out now?” He asked. Akeagoro smirked, “Ohh excuse me, I thought I had you in another room.”

She opened the door and Warburn nearly tripped out, trying not to knock over house keeping items into a loud mess on the floor. He looked over and saw the little huntress curled up in bed. The shaman smiled a bit and approached. Akeagoro bowed to the shaman and returned to her station out the door.

Warburn sat the edge of her bed and looked down at her. Watching her continuously try to close her eyes, but after a few times, she moved her head slightly and peered back at him. Wondering why he just looked at her for those few moments in silence.

He moved to get up to find a place to sleep in silvermoon, “Well, I hope da bath did good ta make yous feel betta m’pretty.” As he was getting up though he would feel a hand small in comparison to his own, wrap around his wrist, and not letting go for that matter. Tasera was still quiet, but when Warburn looked back, he could see the look in her eyes. Almost like a youngling, she had that pleading, baby like look in her gaze.

Warburn did not question this for long and he smiled, “Guess I be guardin’ yous for a while also.”

Tasera smiled in return, “Tanks.” She whispered. And for a good few moments she held that smile. Warburn got his mail armors off his body and set them aside near his packs and shield. Leaving him in a cotton shirt and his long shaman kilt. He made his way back to the bed, and sunk under the covers, his feet nearly touching the edge. He smiled, and took a long breath as he pulled the wounded huntress towards him. Holding her near him, he simply asked, “Yous comfy?”.

“Yes, “ she replied. Warburn moved around no further. With one lanky arm around her he was quick to enjoy the extremely comfortable bed. Tasera's eyes began to close and she started to drift under, when suddenly she was jolted awake by snoring. She peered up and saw Warburn already fast asleep. A tusky grin emerged and she rolled her eyes. Trying to hold back a laugh, she situated herself against him a little more comfortably and swiftly fell into a deep sleep as well.
