A flock of druids was spotted swooping down on unsuspecting Alliance in Draenor.
They would gather around the target and stare. Alliance that ran, attacked, cried, or begged died in a mass of mooonfire spam. Those that simply stared back or danced were spared.
(( Thanks to Cocheli from <Pack Spirit>i for instigating this event, and thanks to all the druids that attended and made this event possible.))

Re: Birds!
We had 14 in the flock at one point and got good feedback – folks seemed to really enjoy the idea as well as the actual event.
Folks had a number of good ideas (to the point of provoking a couple “Stay on target! Stay on target!†reminders keeping us on the task/event at hand) for Druid events in the future – mass bear attacks, stealth-kitty intercepts in towns or on the roadways, for example. Everyone seemed very open to the idea of doing something like this again and getting more Druids involved, so I don't think this will be the last attack of the Birds in the Outlands.
Much thanks to Aitana for all the effort she put into spreading the word and helping build interest, as well as actually *speaking* in the Vent channel, since I am ears only. I'll be surprised if we don't see other people using the /druid channel to organize similar events, now that they've seen the kind of turnout they might be able to expect and just how much fun it could be.

Re: Birds!
This is why I'm creating the Elf-tronic Randomly Altering Signal Transmittal Color Mk I. I plan to implement the initial series of tests as soon as I can get druid to hold still long enough. The antennae is a bit large, but otherwise, the druids should feel nothing aside from the occasional eardrum piercing squelch that I have not yet been able to work out.
This way, all our friends would know when a menacing murder of druid crows is about to descend. Someone has to monitor these druids.
((I wish I was a druid so that I could attend something like this. Glad to see you all had a good time. Cochelli, you're the best!))

Re: Birds!
Baelspar, I suggest you find better uses for that technology like tracking night elves. They have a disturbing way of blending in with the shadows. If you try to put one of them on me again, you might find that you have a hoof print on your face. But that might not be so bad as a good hoof print could improve the looks of any elf. Some people consider them to be the latest in fashion.

Re: Birds!
I suppose that if I was more of a provincial elf, that hoof print tattoo might be something of an eye catcher.
Alas, I am the height of urban style, and reference to pastoral lifestyles will be nothing more than a mark of eccentricity for the tragically unfashionable yet still necessary for social functions. Besides, you might harm my goggles, a work of art in and of themselves.
Sadly, test of the tracking collar have met with failure. As long as they remain in bird form, the collar stays on. They are even easy to track, for they interfere with the druid's ability to fly faster than a walk. In spite of these successes, their bear form is too large for it. The leather snaps, and delicate pieces break and shatter.
Perhaps there is some form of dart that will inject a sub down tracking widget into the druid. It would stay with them, even when they shift forms. Perhaps I can find a test subject amongst this new crop of druids. I'm sure that I might even get Grellix out of his mold and spore house to assist me.
