45 years ago, in a small human village, strange things were happening. The birds, without any reason or warning began attacking the people living in that village. Horrifying and bizzare, no one had an explanation. What were once harmless animals, became possessed by something otherworldly. In the end, the only thing left to do was to run.
As predicted long ago, the birds would return. Somewhere somehow, they would gather again and attack.

When people wander without a care, when their attention and desires are elsewhere, it will happen again. Beware the wanderer, the merchant, the lover. You will not be safe in your house. Your fields will provide no shelter. Your graveyards will brim to overflowing.

Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 7:00 pm server time beginning in Orgrimmar. The event will last until about 8:30 server time. This event is for all horde who own a non-combat bird pet or hunters with a bird combat pet. Stealth classes: i.e. rogues (level 2+) and druids (level 20+) will be encouraged to remain stealthed until humans are encountered. We'll be guiding the birds to a specific graveyard in a town to be named at the beginning of the event.
You'll need just a couple of things for participation:
1. A flying bird non-combat pet of any variety
2. an hour and a half of carefree time to enjoy some RP and perhaps, an encounter with the alliance.
We will attempt to make it all the way without engaging the alliance in any form of combat, but you should be ready to if needed. There are no specific level requirements for this event but being at least 30 will mean you're generally sturdy enough to handle the traveling requirements. Be prepared to spend at least a little of the event as a ghost.
Goals of the event:
* RP friendship and continued promotion on Emerald Dream.
* RP-bird attack on human targets.
* Explore new lands for lower level (and some higher level) characters
* Grab a screenshot or two of the mayhem.
* Establish a consistent RP Event night away to nurture the RP community Hordeside (once or twice a month). I'd love to see a consistent 40+ people participating in our server events.
We'll meet at the bonfire in front of the Orgrimmar Bank a little before 7:00 pm to form up the raid. Hope to see you there. Contact Ortega in game for an invite on Wednesday.
