Raids - A Nyx Public Service Announcement

Postby Yaengohl » Fri Sep 19, 2008 11:29 am

It appears that a couple of our officers are of the mind to aid the community in voicing their concerns over issues that effect Azeroth as a whole.

Eyesore had this to say:

Feeling like just showing up for a raid isn't enough?

Tired of that wiped-out feeling after multiple fatalities?

More to the point, do your raids lack clarity?

And your money bags gold?

Then, my friends, it may be time for you to Adopt A Raid!

That's right, Adopt A Raid may address just what is missing in your gaming life. When you Adopt A Raid, you ensure that the best possible information is available for the little raid of your choice. Too many raids are going without completion, and you can do something about it. You can Adopt A Raid, and you can do it now. For just a few minutes a day, you can work on gathering the information necessary to detail a coherent raid plan. The need is evident, and all raids are currently available for development of a Leader's Guide. Raiders are standing by to follow your lead, just Adopt A Raid!

You'll be glad you did.

I am Eyesore, and I approved this message.

Bael'spar chimed in with:

Just remember, that taking care of a Raid is an important matter. Your home should be well able to house and comfort your raid. Taking on a raid can also be serious life-long commitment. Some people get raids for their children on the holidays, not knowing the kind of attention that a raid requires.

Once you have decided on a raid for yourself, use a reputable raider. There are raiding mills that treat the raid in less the humane conditions. Often piling one raid on top of another, with disease running rampant.

For many, a young raid is too much of a trial. Before getting that adorable looking young raid, why not consider an older raid? You're local raid shelter is likely to have a needing soul that will be an asset to you in the days and months to come.

Most important of all, spay or neuter your raid. Over spawned raids can lead to neglect, or even just being passed over. I share with you tale of Naxxramas. It was an attractive raid that looked like it would yield some great loot for any that were willing to spend time with it. Yet, there never seemed enough time to spend with poor Nax. How many times has Nax's name came up, and you were unable to spend time their due to other items in an agenda of your busy dailies?

Adopting a raid isn't just for the weekend.
