The Scarlet Crusade has Gone Too Far!

Postby Barefoot » Sat Oct 11, 2008 7:02 pm

Monosoki and Ezraella were in Eastern Plaguelands this weekend to carry out an important secret mission for Lady Nyx. I received the following letter today:

Crusader Lord Valdelmar wrote:My courier brought me a rather exciting delivery today. He and his entourage dragged behind them two decidely pathetic, waif-like Blood Elves. A brief investigation of the filthy elves revealed that their names are Ezraella and Monosoki, and that they sometimes call you a leader. We intend to find out more about them and their devious plans using interrogation methods in the name of the Light.

I send you this note to warn you that they may not enjoy these interrogation methods... and out of the kindness of my heart I offer you a chance to bring 5,000 gold in exchange for their release. If we do not receive the gold at the entrance to Tyr's Hand by Midnight on Wednesday, the inquisition will continue, and it may stretch the limits of their impure being.

I sincerely hope that despite your primitive ways, you are able to make the right decision.

Crusader Lord Valdelmar

We will not bargain with kidnappers or torturers! We have to make an assault on Tyr's Hand to find and rescue them as soon as possible - and kill this twisted paladin, Valdelmar!

Wednesday, October 15, at 10PM Server Time, we will make our attack.

You will have to send Yaen'gohl a report on how it went. He will be busy helping me stock up on a little bit of Autumnal brew. I can't be expected to strap some kegs to the side of Ros'nante, can I? He'll be carrying them for me, for Riva is likewise dissamused at being a pack wolf (sorry for the pune, or play upon words, heh). I, of course, will have to be supervising and making sure that he doesn't imbibe any himself.

Good help is so hard to find, you have to keep on them at all times so that they don't backslide.

((I will, unfortunately, be at work. I could lament that this would dovetail into where my story line is headed, but I won't. For now. I hope this is as much fun as the dance was. I'll try to cajole Tifani/Urina into going.))

A request

It has come to my attention, Ezraella, that there is an ever increasing problem within the Plaguelands. Many reports have come back to me regarding a loss of magical stability and, simply put, a possible presence of the Scourge.

It is therefore my obligation and duty to send you to the Plaguelands to investigate and remedy this problem. I taught you as much as I could, even though you are a stubborn student. It is my hope that your abilities have increased enough over the time that you departed from our home.

Take care, my student, and be wary. There are other dangers in these lands than just creatures of shadow.

The following lines have been added recently to the bottom of the scroll

I apologize for sending her. Though I would aid her myself, I have no doubt that with your aid, she will be safe. All I ask is that you do not tell her of my sending of this letter. She is proud, if a little vain. I forward this to you in hopes that it reveals pertinant information...

I know that you will protect her and you have my thanks.

(( Yes yes, Ez CAN actually do more than one thing at once, you know. :P ))

i remember the scarlet crusade from when i worked with Kil'jaeden, they were just as monstrous as the demon's i had worked with, as much as i despise them, i can honestly understand their crusade, but i do certainly agree they have gone much too far
