Paraphrased slightly from http://alshar.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=12 :
Guideline 1: All posts must be made in character. Post OOC threads in the Sanctuary forum, else they will be moved to the appropriate forum.
Guideline 2: Everything said or done by you in this forum will be expected to have taken place, or will carry over, in game.
Guildline 3: All posts must be available as open RP for anyone to be part of.
Guideline 4: Please do not write in someone else’s actions, words or reactions unless you have specific permission from that person or your character had witnessed such in game. Players can be very protective over their characters considering the work they put into fleshing them out and it is important to give the characters the respect they deserve as someone else's "property". Any thing you do to another character should be phrased as an attempt, instead of stating it outright. It gives the other player a chance to decide if they will let the action happen to their character or if they decide to avoid it because it is something they don't want to be done (or wouldn't be likely to occur).
- You may say that you attempted to smack the character.
- You may not say... And then the orc cried out, 'Hit me again, you strong handsome orc!' (Unless of course you have permission from that orc).
Guideline 5: Your role playing should enhance the atmosphere by allowing you to recreate encounters but should not allow you to do things that is beyond the limits of your character. Do not write about something your character should not be able to do within the boundaries of normal reason. This relates to not making your character a super powerful character in the forums. If your character does not fly in game, then you should not be able to as well in the forum. Avoid sudden and dramatic events that for no reason allow you to bend the rules of reality (like suddenly a god surrounds you with a holy aura and instantly your wounds are healed as you slaughter a thousand draenei). It will get on the nerves of your fellow role-players.
Guideline 6: If you did it in game, you can write about it and expand it here. If one character actually killed a great warrior of another guild or faction then a thread can be started relating to that specific event. This does not mean that the character can now safely say he can beat that great warrior in any fight... just the one that actually happened.
Guildline 7: Have Fun!

Nicely done, Aitana. Thankee. And I will be more careful in the future about having you snort this or that in my RP postings. *grin*
