The Seed of Nordrassil

The Sunwell was a magical vacuum with Kil'Jaeden gone. Leothiel knew that was an engraved invitation for more corruption of his homeland. The Sunwell had to be redeemed somehow. Leothiel also knew there were untapped magics that Sin'dorei could use. He recalled his tales from the Shendra'lar of the Eldre'thalas library and the powers of the world tree. He also knew about the blessing of the seed of Teldrassil by the dragons.

Leothiel also knew the way to Nordrassil's location was blocked but the Bronze Dragonflight had a portal to the time of a great battle. It was the first battle where Horde, Alliance, and Kal'dorei joined forces to fight against the Burning Legion.

He ran into Nattura and Tsaphaan in Dalaran and asked them if he'd like to join them on a Sin'dorei matter. When they passed through the time rift, he told them the real reason: To redeem the Sunwell, we will need to retrieve a seed of the world tree, have the Lifebinder bless it, then have it planted in the Sunwell. Leothiel then spoke up "Dragonkin can see through dissimulation very well. We will need a druid to take the seed to Alexstrazsa not knowing my intentions." Tsaphaan expressed concern about disrupting events. Leothiel reassured that no interaction or combat will take place. The three of them set off in the Hyjal of the past. Leothiel blew a kiss to Jaina Proudmoore, then kneeled and presented his sword to Thrall. Afterwards, Leothiel, Nattura, and Tsaphaan reached the Kal'dorei encampment where Nordrassil was.

Leothiel was taken in by the beauty of Nordrassil and its size. The three of them went down and swam underneath the tree to look for a seed. Nattura and Tsaphaan were fine. Leothiel had never felt magic of this magnitude: They were in the waters of the Well of Eternity. He was growing weaker by the second as the waters also rendered him unable to cast. He swam to a bank with what little strength he had left. After he got out, he walked a few steps forward and collapsed. Nattura and Tsaphaan surfaced moments later to see their friend unconscious. Tsaphaan checked for a pulse. Leo woke up, crawled some more, then passed out again.

Leothiel regained consciousness and asked "Have you... found any.. seeds?" Tsaphaan commented they did not. Leo then walked closer to the well and the tree. He saw some on the roots and in the water, pointed, and collapsed again but was conscious. Leothiel crawled away from the tree and said "He cannot find me here." Nattura wondered "Who?" Tsaphaan rode around until he found a seed of the tree and gave it to Leothiel.

"I cannot... open a portal... here." Tsaphaan and Nattura helped Leo into the Hog sidecar. Leothiel blew a kiss to Tyrande Whisperwind on the way out. When they arrived at the Horde encampment, Leothiel felt his strength returning. "I can open a portal here." All three of them were back in present-day Dalaran.

The group parted ways. When Leothiel arrived in bed that night, he just collapsed and fell asleep.

Leothiel has kept the seed of Nordrassil in his possession since acquiring it. He writes a note to Aitana:

I will need to see you in person about a certain matter.
