Lunar Festivities

Well, once again the time that we look back into the past is upon us. In that vein, I propose we explore the ancient Sin'doreian tradition of unarmed combat. In our tradition, the Festival Outfit is the perfect fighting gear. Just as there are those that use tabards to fight in their own style.
While it is premature to suggest a tournament at this time, I ask that you consider your own fighting style. Perhaps, should you meet another Nyxer in your daily life, you might challenge them to unarmed combat during this time. If they signifigantly beat you, then they might be a gracious winner and take you to an ancestor that may have aided them once in the past. Or they may laugh at you. Nyx is a mixed bag at times.
Prepare yourself though, for in one year, there will be an unarmed tourney the like of which hasn't been seen for a while.
((I'm working on a martial art tournament setting for the Lunar Festival. The rules are unarmed, and armored only in non stat enhancing gear. You may use special abilities if you can find reference to them in a Hong Kong action film. Movies based on video games don't count. Movies in settings after 1800 are also not eligible. You must declare your special ability as a style. (e.g. - using the rogue kick, you have to say "Feel the force of my Tornado Kick!") I will arbitrate any "rule breaking". This year is just a test, I would like to have a server wide tournament, Best of Guild only.
Also, this would be a good time to meet up with some of the lower/higher level members of the guild to go visit ancestor spirits.
