A quiet departure...
On the side of a mountain, a gangly female troll starred down at a village. Her face was beaten, and a little blood trickled from the side of her mouth. She had a peculiar smile on her face though as she looked down at the village. The architecture was trollish and it's inhabitants, trolls of the Shatterspear Village looked up in anger at the blue figure who starred down at them. nnAt the woman's side was a powerful feline, a spirit cat of sorts. Powerful and very strong jawed he growled and grumbled. Looking down at the trolls that yelled up at her. nn"Guess dey didn' like da idea of me leavin, did dey?" she chuckled under her breath, brushing some hair out of her face. The female troll's sea green hair had grown longer during her absence, her bangs hanging losely over her bright red eyes. Pulling a pole arm close and using it as a walking stick, she turned and started to make her way into the wilderness, the feline behind her. nnA few days had passed and at the door step of the guild hall a lone canine sat, those who knew him would recognize the beast as Despara. On his back he carried a package and a scroll, tied with a skilled hand so it would not fall from the creatures back...nnThe scroll was long, and dappled with specs that appeared to be marks from dried up water. There was a later carefully written letter on the scroll.nnIt read,nnTo my dearest friends, oracles, and kin...nnThe wilds have called my name. There is so much left in the world I want to, need to discover. There are creatures I have not hunted that I must slay for understanding. There are many creatures I have not learned to tame and wish to gain their trust. The world is far bigger then the Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, and Northrend. There may be lands out there that our peoples have not even stepped foot on. It is such an excitng prospect is it not?! But also, saddening. nnI suppose you know what that words mean already, you are all smart and these scribbles don't take much looking into to understand them. I am leaving. I need to. Even though the idea of not seeing any of you in these lands for some time to come, is honestly terrifying. You have always been there for me, for the good or bad. The memories of landing my arrows into the hearts of alliance along side all of you is making me smile as I write this. Even if it happens to be a long time since I see all of you again, we are bound by the struggles and by the blood we share and that will never change.nnI feel as if I should have come and made my goodbye in person, but as I write this I am travelling to the oceans, far from here. I am leaving with all of you, my trusted hound in the raids of Naxxramas and Ice-Crown Citadel, Despara. If I fail to return, I wish for all of you to allow him to live out his days guarding the guild hall. He is loyal to everyone of Nyx, and will do what his canine mind can muster for the Lady in my stead. nnMy dear Oracles. Aitana, Asarelah, Warburn. As well Umbral Champions and Nightwarders. And to all of you who lead me to places that I once could never fathom. I remember when I first joined Nyx how ever long ago it was, I just held a simple wooden bow and my temper was what drove me. As I leave here now, I see myself as a strong hunter, it would not have been with out the help of all of you. You where the ones who made me who I am today, and you are the ones who gave me the strength to learn more about the world around me. nnAitana, you where like a mother, you knew what to always say and put me in my place when my temper went off on its own. Keep pushing the guild forward like you are so good at doing. nAsarelah, as I have said many times before, you where, and always will be a sister to me. You may have been one of those frilly bloodelves, but that is of no matter. Your carring took you far, and I was happy to have you fighting, and healing at my side when our battles turned to blood. Please take good care of Bane, I know he'll need the extra attention when he notices many of his stable mates and myself are no longer around.nWarburn, you wiley old troll. You where definitely different from most males I met in the past. I am still trying to figure out to this day why you where so good at calming me down. You, like the others will be on my mind, and another Nyxian I'll miss deeply. Please, for me remain the cool collected one, I couldn't imagine what it'd be like if you got my temper.nnI always held up a strong front, I have been angry, and upset before but I managed to keep face. But right now, as you can probably see by the stains on this paper, I am having a hard time keeping my tears off this letter. I suppose I should leave all of you with these words. Stay strong my friends. Let the oracles lead you, take in their wisdom as you would a treasured elder. Let them lead you to the spoils of victory. And remember together, the Alliance have little chance to overcome our unity. The Horde is strong and will work through the arrogance and ignorance of others. nnI hope to return someday, stronger and wiser. But until then, continue to gain strength without me, let fear not stand in your way. Even if the fangs of death have bitten down deep, ignore them, and remember all you need in the end is your will power. nnI love each and everyone of you...nnYour loyal hunter and friend, nnTaserannFOR THE LADY...FOR THE HORDEnnP.S. Enclosed in the package there is a small idol. It is a statue of the Shatterspear's loa of strength. Place him somewhere for all to see and to be graced by his might. n

Re: A quiet departure...
Aitana stroked the cat's fur and sank to the ground as she read the letter. Tasera was gone. From the tone of the letter, this did not sound like another one of her rash, hot-headed schemes. Wiping tears from her face, she gathered herself and stepped outside. Despara jumped with typical cat reflexes when the form of the Tauren was replaced by a treant. Aitana dug her roots into the ground and said a prayer to the Earthmother for Tasera's safety and eventual safe return.
