Blood Knight Linkan to the Darkfaire Goes

The young Tauren delighted in the wind that passed through his fur. This flight, regardless of how temporary the Carnie said it was be was beyond speech. Between his hooves, he watched the tallstriders and prairie stalkers as he flew past. The wind carried to him the smells of Bloodhoof Village, and he could see it coming up on the horizon. In the midst of the river before it, there was the "landing zone" which he was told to angle toward. When he thought he was at the right point, he let loose from his fading wings. As the ground rose to meet him, he noted the other Tauren that had not made it. All too soon, he joined their number, the earth stealing his life from him in an instant.
This scene did not go unobserved. Brave Stormcloud went to Thunder Bluff to describe the loss of the young to Chieftan, Cairne Bloodhoof. On his way, he passed the garish purple tents and stalls of the Darkmoon Faire. Smells of overly sweet snacks and cheap swill that would be called 'drinks' overtook his senses. This hastened him to inform his chieftan.
Upon hearing the news, Cairne let out a yell, "How can this be allowed!!!"
The bluffwatchers, once the likeliest culprits had been fingered, took off after the gnome with the Tauren shooting canon. Yet, as the morning mist in the afternoon sun, the gnome had vanished; canon, faire, and all. Aitana, our emissary to the Tauren was present, and bore witness to the anger and fury of Cairne.
In her wisdom, she has elected that our guild, Nyx, should go forth on behalf of the Bloodhoof Clan and all that they lead in order to register a complaint with the Darkmoon Faire Entertainment Group. Further reports indicate that the humans are given a large lake to land in, and often survive to be devoured by murlocs. At least they had a fighting chance. That is all that we crave. A fighting chance.
