Re: Bar night
nnn*with a slight giggle, Tarja walks by looking at the sign, a thought passes through her mind.* oh to be a fly on the wall in the bar these boys gather at... nnit must have slipped past her lips as the Tauren lady beside her, looked curiously at her with strange oddly colored eyes. "Count me in! Free peanuts!" She belted out, struting into the bar to apply. nnTarja shook her head... "God Anjjie...I'm a healer..not a baby sitter..." She followed the tauren in as well.Bloodthin wrote:We are hiring are bartender for the nyx bar night. Pleas apply to Bloodthin for an interview. Post here to apply. The drinks will be paid for you and there is always the posiblily of getting tips. *puts up the help wanted ad*

Re: Bar night
*Oraellana signs her name to take on the opportunity. Perhaps she could help anyone who gets hurt? With Alcohol always comes injury... Though, this was only her way of justifying it to herself... Mostly, she wanted to get out and meet people! ...And maybe some less righteous things as well. Being good all the time could get boring, after all.*

Dies the beast.
Dies the king.
In fire's path, dies everything.
PS: Yes. You actually do have to run faster than the lion.

Re: Bar night
Suggestions:nnWhoever heads this up or becomes the "head barmaid" or whatever, take an active role, and take charge! This could be a really creative and fun new tradition for the guild that we should work to make great.nn1. Try and have matching bar worker outfits so patrons and bartenders can differentiate from one another. nn2. Pick a location that looks like a bar, but is harder for griefers to get to and preferably won't be attacked by allies. Also, think of interesting alcoves and things that might be around that could make for good rp. Is there an inn bedroom? A kitchen? Seedy corners? What fun areas could there be for people to rp in around the bar?nn3. Enforce IC conduct and speech in your bar at all times. You're the bartender, whisper unruly patrons to chill on OOC stuff or leave the bar if they won't. There is enough OOC that goes on in vent and G Chat, so let's make sure people who choose to come to an rp bar get rp. nn4. Keep it fun. No one wants emo speech rp, so think of ways to keep the bar interesting if there are lulls. What kind of stuff might you see at a bar that hosts orcs, taurens and undead? Is it a low end, "Star Wars bounty hunter" bar? Is it a fancy elven bar (*vomits* oh, sorry). Would there be fist fights that people could bet on? Would there be people looking for dates, to drown their sorrows or "hook up"? Would there be drunkards starting trouble that need to get booted? Would there be people looking to make coin in illegal manners? Would that be ok in your bar if so? Any and all of these things could make for an interesting time. nn5. Make sure to stock up on alcohols that are uncommon. You can make trips out to hard to reach places to obtain strange and exotic liquors that you can charge more for, like in O'grilla for example. Also, have your bartenders make macros that they can hit that list out the liquors for sale that they can hit every so often so people know what you have to offer. nn6. Big point of potential fun/rp drama- do you allow weapons or armor in your bar? Many places might see clunky battle armor and weapons as potentially troublesome in their establishments. nnOK, hope some of these ideas are inspiring to you guys! If you want and/or need my help, let me know- I've been wanting to do a bar night with Auntie Beullah, and as you can see I've given it a little thought (lol).
