The patch that wasn't.....

Well, I am still sitting here clicking "C:\Games\World of Warcraft\Launcher.exe" over and over and over again, my friends. And that patch just won't load.

Ambassador, I really needed to attend that boot camp, as do all the others. I am sorry I am not there to help coax (yeah, with a gun to their head) folk to attend. And we are flat out of time. We might need to meet a full hour ahead of time, for the PvP Encounter on Thursday, if many are in the same boat as I am right now, and simply can not log on.

Apparently, this error is quite widespread, and even Blizzard are encouraging people to download the patch via mirrors.

Thankee heaps Tomoyo. I have been sitting here clicking for hours! DL in progress. I was in serious Withdrawal !! Whew !!

This was the first time I've ever used a mirror site to DL a patch directly, and it worked perfectly. I think I'm going that route from now on. I've found that patches sometimes hang when downloading via the in-game mechanism.
