So everyone's aware of what's happened here...
Basically, the only thing I have access to for recovering the backup on the old Nyx forums, the tool within the admin control panel there, doesn't really produce a proper useable backup. The script simply times out, without giving us all the data we need.
What's needed is a full backup via phpmyadmin. Thankfully, Khallah can arrange that for us, but I don't know when he's going to be able to do it.
So until then...a workaround. Just like we accessed this forum before the DNS for the domain was moved, we can access the old forum by inserting the following line into HOSTS (Google HOSTS if you don't know what it is), removing it to come back here.
216.157.154.192 thenyx.org
Please feel free to recover anything from there that catches your fancy.

<helpful>For people that can't be bothered googling for it, the instructions for changing the hosts file is available on the old forums.</helpful>

For Windows XP users, the default location will be at C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
Just edit that file with notepad.
