Amilidirie

Postby Aitana » Sat Jun 14, 2008 2:03 pm

Either he has been hacked, lost his mind, or is scamming the guild. I'm going for hacked. He took about all he could from the guild bank tabs that he could possibly take, and when I asked him about it ... well, the screenshot speaks for itself.

Part of the reason I think he was hacked is that he doesn't talk like he talked to me in the past. He has been kicked from the guild. If he can prove that he was hacked, then he can be re-invited.

This has happened twice (and possibly a third) in my alliance guild with items stolen and characters items lost and in one case characters deleted.

Hopefully blizzard will restore his account.

I provided one person with screenshots of bank items that the hacker had taken from the guild bank log and blizzard had restored some of the items so maybe that could help here too.

In the Armory it has a complete transaction log of everything that was ever deposited or withdrawn from the guild bank with who did it and a time and date stamp for each transaction. It can also be filtered by character. The GM's should have no problem seeing what he took, and if they do, I can screenshot that. It shows transactions for characters that are no longer in the guild. Maybe it's a bad assumption on my part, but I"m assuming it shows transactions even from characters that have been deleted.

For what it's worth, I had a conversation with a GM about the situation. Thus, we have a timed report on when we feel that things went south. Hopefully, they will see this as a recovery point.

Ah, I didn't know that. Good to know.
