Deminaria: Well when I first named this character I wanted it to have a name that wasn't silly and yet not so serious when need be so when I clicked the random name button and got Deminaria I believe it was perfect for a mage also i thought it matched what i can be like "Serious when need be but after words its go with the flow and have a good time respectfully".
Demineria: Well as you know from my story Demineria and Deminaria are brothers and the thought passed through my mind that they could be twins (Still wondering whether to add that in or not) and I believe that twins should have a close related name (weird i know) so I deleted the a in aria and switched it with a e and got eria which seemed to work well in my opinion.

I wanted to use a word that had some strength in it. "Leo" is a translation of "lion." I used the suffix "thiel" from going down an elfin NPC name list.
Lord Leothiel Frosthawk, First of the Mageblood, Proud Lord to Lady Oneille, father and protector of Haeldrin and Islanna

Theotaz:
Classical reference Byzantium. Theodorus Sage/poet/historian of Byzantium in its early history after the fall of Rome. I was aiming for a name that one would attribute to a person of wisdom and learning. Theo has read most of the in game "books" one finds here and there in the game, though unfortunatly not all of them to this theotaz as this is his 2nd incarnation as a character. The original Theotaz was marksman spec hunter
that was deleated before BC came out having reached his level cap (first player to 60th in his original guild) and not being terribly willing to put up the the ego BS of the early "raid" guilds in WOW
Theo Taz.. The taz part because well, its sounds World of Warcraft trollish <grin>
Svalina:
Part of my family of Russ (rassian) inspired names.
Kheliosrham: Yet onother of my historicaly inspired names.. in this case a mix of Greco/indo european. really two sepearte words Khelio..with I hope an obvious reference to Helios (the sun) and the secend part "sraham" being a typical portion of famle names out of northern India and the Kush. I was going for a very exotic sound ing name befitting what was always planed to be a sublety specced rouge.
and of course last but not least Dulucre, my bank alt. Thank Mel Brooks for the inspiration! (Dulucre is not in the guild..nor likely will he be)

Pet Names for Jeoy
Laqueus - Means snare or maw, I thought it fit for a raptor.
Primal - I've been watching a lot of beast wars lately :P

As an admiration for the raptor birds of prey, the hawk, falcon and birds of the like, I felt was a good name for my druid. Flightform at its best...riding the wind...hence Wiindriider

Asarelah is the feminine version of the Hebrew word (as are all my character names): asarel, and means "right with God." Pronounced As - are - rail - ah, emphasis on the first A.
Tsadah = Hebrew: Hidden, or to Hide.
Chaliyphah = Hebrew: Change, to change, to disquise oneself.
Thayrah= Hebrew: Hunter.
Darasha = Hebrew: Necromancer; Raise the dead.
Tsalmaveth = Hebrew: "The destroyer to come"; the actual name of the Passover Destroyer.
Siyach = Hebrew: To meditate, or commune (with nature)
And No, I am not Hebrew, but Christian. I just happen to very much like the flow and sound of the Hebrew language and also that my names have specific meanings, which specifically signify each character that wears them.

Saerok (Sare-Ock) much like Tasera, i just strung some letter/syllable combinations together until i found something i liked. Historically speaking, I have taken names or variations of names from books, games, and of course my own imagination. Occasionally i take them from other languages, Ie. I have a Dreanei Prot Pally on my Alliance server named Ehre which is German for Honor, which i thought fitting.

Perditia - As a name means lost. (though I can't imagine anyone actually naming their daughter this!) It is taken from the word Perdition which can mean utter destruction and ruin, or eternal damnation/loss of the soul.
I thought it quite appropriate for an Undead Warlock to have that name.

Re: What Does your character name mean to You?
Loki is a deity from Norse mythology. Lokimar is a name I've used for characters on a lot of games over the years, including MUDs and D&D. Most of my other characters in wow are also named Loki, with a different suffix.
My Druid, Slapajo is a play on words. With the J making the H sound, as in "Camp Taurajo" or "Navajo", since the Tauren culture is similar to that of some native american tribes. I thought it was funny, and "Bullshift" was taken.
