nnAh ha! Okay. That part I wasn't grasping; so I basically would have been starting out fresh regardless. That sheds some greater perspective on the whole in-game situation I've been looking at that I think I needed; I'll admit that since getting my account back and asking to rejoin Nyx, I somewhat irrationally felt like I was being penalized for circumstances beyond my control by having to start back at the ground level.nnAnd while I still couldn't control getting sick and having to leave the game for a while, knowing that even if my characters hadn't needed to be restored or re-invited to the guild, I likely would have had to start from scratch in some larger fashion neatly quells any unease I was feeling.nnThat being said, I should make clear that I
never felt that I was being treated maliciously in any fashion, or that anyone was being unkind. In fact, you in particular, Asarelah, have been extraordinarily thoughtful and helpful, for which I am very grateful!
And I understand the purpose and nature of the policy; it keeps the door open for old friends without threatening the efforts or feelings of those whom have established themselves in the guild during the interim between said old friends departure and return. It's a sage, very fair idea. It was never an issue with guild policy or staff; just a somewhat-downtrodden feeling about my in-game situation in general. One which I think was lamenting in my previous post in a poor fashion.nnI sincerely hope it that post didn't come across as my begging my old rank back, criticizing the guild policies in any way, or insinuated that I was somehow being picked on; that was never my intention, and I
sincerely apologize if it did.
;; I'm so ridiculously happy to be back in Nyx, on Emerald Dream, and playing again that I barely know how to describe it.nnAs for swapping the hunter for the druid, I do think I'm going to do that. I started having buyer's remorse on asking for the invite on my hunter almost immediately after accepting it. I'm not entirely certain why, I really enjoy the hunter class. But I can't deny I felt it. As for the items taken from the guild bank for the hunter, while I equipped the bags, knowing I was considering swapping which character I wanted in the guild, I have purposely not equipped the weapon. I will gladly return it to the guild bank so that someone else in the guild might enjoy it.
