i agree with this . i dont have an autenticator yet , and i belive none of you can help me with that , since it`s a bit dificult to mail it to brasil, and here it costs 100R$ wish is the same as 50 $ so i will probably wait til summer and buy it somehow.

if you have an Iphone or Ipod touch or another smart phone there's supposed to be an authenticator app for it from blizzard now. the problem is there are complaints of it messing up and giving the wrong codes if it runs out of power

Myself, Thoka, and Tyruya have all suffered as well, and I even think I stopped myself from getting hacked a second time. Luckily we all emerged alright, in our separate instances. But it was not without stress for our troubles... This is out of hand and blizzard needs to solve the problems with their customers' security... and not charge them for it. Next they will charge us to get our accounts restored after hackers trash them...

There were mutterings about an Authenticator coming packaged with Cataclysm, I don't know how true that is though.nnUlua I had to get it shipped to my home address, which because I live in a small village doesn't get post to home. The Post Office got angry with me as usual, someday people will realise that if they get their money they should be able to post it to our PO Boxes!

There is no way to prove somebody does or doesn't have an authenticator on our end, but we could put it in the guild application anyway and do everything to strongly encourage people to get them. I have bought an authenticator and mailed it to a member myself as well, and I would be willing to do it again.

Thought that was a limited release time, er that there was a cut off date to have an authenticator in order to get a pup. Besides I'm not sure that you can't then immediately uninstall the auth once you have the pet.

nnI got my authenticator a few months ago and still got the pup, so who knows. It's also very hard to get an authenticator off your account, so I'm not sure why someone would do it just for the sake of joining us. nnIf anyone's gotten an authenticator within the last month or two, let us know if you got the pup
