Large Patch on the Horizon (3.0.2)

If rumors are to be believed, patch 3.0.2 will go live on the 14th. While I'm generally more of a live and let patch kind of guy, this one may have larger consequences. Perhaps I should be up front and say that this isn't IC, and it's not that barbershops will be opening up.

The day that it goes live for you (you know, the day that you log into the new patch); check your talents. Many things are getting changed. All talent points are being reimbursed to all players. There are new talents for all classes. Taking time with the respec might be in order.

As a further consideration, I ask you all to recall the month or so before the Burning Crusade released. Doom Lord Kazath was set upon Undercity; causing much death and destruction. Apparently, ripples are being felt around Dalaran. It might behoove us to have some contingency plans in place to deal with such threats on a more proactive basis.
