Level 1 Cow Raid downs 70 Mage

They all rolled level 1 Tauren alts and staged a raid boss encounter where they had to take down a level 70 mage. Apparently, a lot of thought went into the encounter, with the mage's gear and abilities tuned to create a realistic opponent for the little cows. Additionally, the mage, Belise, limited himself to using his abilities on certain cues and made good use of emote macros to further mimic a scripted boss encounter.

The thread also contains more information regarding how they balanced the event and speculation concerning how similar fights would work with other classes. It would also be a good place to express your interest if you'd like to participate in another similar event in the future.
I've heard of some interesting guild events in the past, but personally, this one trumps them all. Have you ever taken part in something like this?

That looked like so much fun!! I would love to organize something like that... think we could get enough people to come?
Who has a 70 on another server that we could fight? I think I would steal the phases/strategies from an actual raid boss to set up the encounter.

Rily has several 70's on Gilneas. He is not particularly interested in RP, but maybe he could be pursuaded. Also Minsc/Corpsicle has (or had?) a second account with level 70 Alliance toons on Emerald Dream.

You could coordinate this with an upcoming Project Moo. They are usually advertised on the ED forum.

Vorosh has a 70 mage on Ice Crown as well. He could likely be convinced to do it. He is one of us!

One person who mentioned to me earlier that they'd be making an application soon has a 2nd account with Alliance side characters here on ED. Always possibilities there.
