Okay guys, this is where I sit here and tap my jaw and ask the question:

What sort of RP events do you all wnat to participate in?

Reason I ask is that Tas and I, along with many of the members of the Lore Ward have been doing a lot of work and have gotten a lot of ideas down, but we want to run things that people will enjoy! So leave your messages here and we'll see what we can do.

Remember... Asnwer the question! Hur hur hur!

What ever you want to do is fine by me. Aitana and I are wrapping up the Strands of Fate on the forums now, my last post just done, and hers to follow.

Ball's in your court.

Need to know if you want Kingship involved, and if so, what work, if any, you wish me to do Diplomatically, with : Cendall Fost, Kharena Fost, or Heimdel. The two chaps lead the war partys.

Or do you wish me to fortify Diplomatic relations with Al'shar now that Leikos is completely gone (account cancelled immediately after our RP event), and Tindr still awol a lot due to personal reasons. I do not know Andenol (spelling) that well, but he's a nice guy so far as I know, and I do not mind doing what ever is needed, IF needed, in that regard.

I have plans for long distance races on mounts in the future, tooled up of course so that pallies and DK's don't win all the time.

I realize this is not outright RP, but it is something that I would like to see:

I have been in Dalaran when players start a mammoth ride around town and many join in, often until there is a complete ring of mammoth riders circling the city. Something about this annoys me that I don't quite know the reason for, but it does anyway. Still, I would like us, Nyx, to start such a mammoth circling, but add a twist when it gets full...we use the Baby Spice on the alliance players. I get this spice from cooking quests, and it works like the snowballs, in that it is tossed at another player, but unlike snowballs, it shrinks them. A mammoth rider becomes about the size of a hunter's pet. I think it would be funny beyond belief for all the proud alliance mammoth riders to suddenly be tiny. I know it wouldn't last long, but I would still like to see it.

How about a history lesson: match the quotation with the person who said it. There are so many great quotes in the WOW books that it could be quite fun...made give prizes for correct answers.

RP Events: How about some type of Horde-side social to reinvigorate RP on the Horde side? We also announce it in the realm forum as an open invitation.

*cringes at the mention of the realm forums*

When we did the Strands of Fate events, we stayed away from them like the plague for a reason.

That is what I am referring to. On my alliance chars, I see serious attempts at RP in Goldshire, which is something I hardly see on Horde side. RP is not dead and we shouldn't have to confine it to a subculture.

We are not doing this to show our combat prowess. I would like to see more social RP events outside of the context of guilds and guild networks. RP is not dead: It's too confined at the moment.

fixt ;)

But really, if you want to make a Horde equivalent to Goldshire you need to pick a suitable lowbie zone city and RP there consistently. Brill comes to mind as well as Razorhill. Over time word gets out that whatever city is an RP "hot-spot." The key is making it accessible to new players coming into the world. People who scout for RP on a server make a level one and ask where the RP is, then go to check it out. If they can't access it, they usually go somewhere else.

The downfall of this is everyone and their mother will go to RP there, good or bad. So you guys will have your neat stuff involving Nyx in one corner of the tavern and a preview of Underworld 4 in the other (I am a vampire scourge hunter known as a "Death Dealer!" ).
