Beach Party!!
August 28, 2009

Gnome Tec proposed to host a beach party in Tanaris, that was promplty Griefed out... Much harsher than rain, to be sure. The perpetraitors of the gank fest were reported, and it was suggested that we move the party to Sen'jin Village, which we did.

There was much swimming in the sunshine, and dancing in the moonlight. Great fun was had by all.

The party ran well in to the night, and ended with stories told by a traveling Poet around the campfire.

Reported.. So let me get this straight. They were reported for ganking, on a PVP server? Did the GM reply with "LOL"?

Reported for griefing at the very least.

*nod* But killing someone in a contested zone is not considered griefing on a pvp server, no matter how many times you do it.

Oh, that part was no big deal. We just moved the party out of Tanaris. And had a good time in spite of having to move.

As far as the reporting, Yes, they can be reported for griefing a Guild RP Event when requested NOT to do so. The request was made for the gankers to stop, stating clearly that they were interferring with a Guild RP Event, they didn't and the disruption continued, so the griefers were reported.

No drama. Those are the rules. They broke 'em. And will face action by Blizzard when the complaint is analyzed, as the chat records of each person reporting will clearly show that the griefers were properly informed, refused to stop, then reported.
