You now have an option under your account management screen to switch factions.

Wow.. I really thought they wouldn't put that in until Cataclysm. If it wasn't for Nyx, I'd probably be doing it already. Horde on Shadowburn is utterly hopeless... So what's the cost?

Prepare to be set back $30. Kinda crazy expensive, but I guess if you really want out of your faction it's worth it.

I'm not considering it for my Paladin or DK at all.. But my druid on the other hand, I may decide to make into a Worgen at some point.

If Worgen could be paladins, I'd be all..

I'm strongly considering moving my mage (Nellie, 74 gnome mage, Twisting Nether, my first toon) to horde on this server, and possibly the Pally (Connal, 62ish Human Pally, Twisting Nether) I made shortly after her after her. Neither of which have had much playtime since I moved to this server and started playing horde. So, although I know several of our members are against this, I'm kind of happy to see the Faction change thing, makes me feel like those toons aren't just wasted time sitting alone and neglected over on their home server.

Note that faction change doesn't include a server transfer, so you're spending a lot of money to do all that.

Which is why atm I'm only strongly considering this, not terribly certain I want to spend that cash...
