The Nyx Gazette Needs Your Help!

Nyx, it's official! The Nyx Gazette is making it return very soon - likely next week, actually! However, it can't be done without everyone's help. The new Gazette will have a number of sections covering a variety of topics, and it needs your submissions to make it complete!

The relaunched Nyx gazette will need the following things to succeed:

In Character Section:

• Brief (a few sentances at most) accounts of recent PvP activities by participants, and pictures to accompany. These snippits should be written in character when possible.
• Brief (a few sentances at most) accounts of recent PvE, Raid, and World Event (Like the Argent Tournament, or Hallow's End) activities by participants, and pictures to accompany. These snippits should be written in character when possible.
• Brief (a few sentances at most) accounts of recent RP events and activities by participants, and pictures to accompany. These snippits should be written in character when possible.
• Notification of upcoming PvE and RP events, so that the announcements may be included in their respective sections. Upcoming PvP announcements will be excluded, since the Gazette will be visible on the front page.
• Screenshot submissions for a section akin to WoW.com's "Around Azeroth" feature, about the IC travels of the members of Nyx.
• Volunteers for the "Spotlight" section, an in character section detailing a member of Nyx, their background and place in the guild, and possibly a short interview.
• Short stories and accounts about anything and everything, written in character!

Out of Character Section:

• Important announcements anyone wishes to have included about upcoming events that may not fall explicitly into any of the above or you may otherwise want noted in the OOC section,
• Important events you'd like included or have changed n the Schedule, important in case something has been added last minute that otherwise might miss being in the Gazette.

Again, submissions are both welcome and encouraged, particularly of pictures and images to go with articles. Only through community effort can the Gazette thrive! How do you want submissions? Do you want people to make submissions to you? Should they send them via the PM system on the forums?

Are you going to write articles based on threads in the forums? This could be done as starting the article in the newspaper with a link to the page on the forums to read the rest of the article.

^That should answer to second and third question. As for how, mailing pictures as attachments works best, I can touch them up however necessary. Any text blurbs or submissions can just be in the body of message or email, clearly marked as submissions and either IC or OOC, please.

Articles will be on subject material pulled from events on schedule, impromtu events I am made aware of, and threads I am either directed to or catch eye of myself, so if you think a thread/event/what have you is news worthy, please, let me know

Eh, no need to worry ;. I probably should ahve made it a bit more prominant. Some bold or somethin' spicy~ Anyway, glad that was sufficient.
