nnWHEN: MONDAY, 18TH, 8PM SERVERnWHAT: THE GRAND TOURNAMENT of Our Beloved Lady NyxnnOn Monday the 18th of January at the stroke of 8 Bells, the entirety of Tribe NYX shall participate in the GRAND TOURNAMENT of Our Beloved Lady Nyx. A series of three large battles shall be held to determine a champion from each match. Each match shall be held in gladiatorial tournament style, where everyone in the ring is against everyone else, and to the winner goes the spoils! The only rule is that there are no rules, so long as you stay within the pit of mortal combat. Gadgetry, cool downs, cheats, tag teaming, gang ups, trickery, stealth, potions and more will help to determine who among us is devoted, and posesses the cunning needed to be a champion of our beloved Lady Nyx. nnThe last man standing from each of the three Battles shall be deemed the champion, and removed from the arena so that the other matches may be completed. By the end of the three matches, three Champions shall be left standing. These three champions shall engage in deadly combat, from which only one woman or man shall remain… the GRAND CHAMPION of our beloved Lady Nyx. nnTHE three winning champions shall each receive $100 gold as a prizenTHE GRAND CHAMPION shall receive $500 gold as a prize, and hold the title of Grand Championnn_____________________________________________________________________________________nnHOW IT SHALL COMMENCE: nEveryone interested in attending be on and ready 10 minutes prior to the event. Announcements shall be made over the guild stone and invitations to the raid will be sent out by Swanthula or Dracmorda. Once the raid is formed, the location of the event shall be announced. For security purposes, the location will be kept secret until the raid is formed.nnWe shall then usher onlookers into a “safe zone”, then gather the participants into a formationnOnce the battle has begun, those killed must stay down until the champion is declared, at which point our arena chaperones will raise the dead, defeated and dismembered, for the good Lady Nyx has not finished with you. A fast knocking came to the door of Tasera's hut, snapping the troll out a deep sleep. The hunter groaned, "I'm up! I'm up...". Sighed she pulled herself out of bed, frustrated that she has to get up out from her three fur blankets and warm linen sheets. Her hair was frazzled and her eyes half open. She wore a night gown that only went to her knees, and the sleeves to her elbows, clearly an item made for a human. nn"Lady Tasera, I have something you'd like to see!" Came the familiar voice of the well spoken Troll Death Knight, Akeagoro.nn"Dat's nice, but why'd joo have to come at-" Tasera stopped mid sentence when she opened the door. Her words stopped by a sheet of paper being slammed into her face. nn"Noon, M'lady? You have many duties that are being put aside by your sleep schedule, if I might say." nnTasera grumbled and grabbed the parchment from the Death Knight's hands before she could lecture her any more. "What's dis?" she asked.nnAkeagoro smiled slyly, "Well it seems there is going to be tournament, of Nyx's finest. A battle till only one is left standing."nnTasera's brows raised, and despite her sleepy gaze, a deadly grin curved her lips. The hunter said nothing but Akea bowed deeply and knowingly before the cranky troll, "I'll let the others know you accept the offer. "nnAkeagoro pulled her battle ax over her back, but stopped to look back at Tasera who was eying the parchment still, "Oh, a word quickly. I suggest you get yourself a gown that actually fits, M'lady. If Warburn or Theotaz saw you in such a piece, you might find them on your stoop dead from a heart attack."

*Grunge shuffles over to Lythanor, a half-chewed paper in his mouth* "M-m-master....me find....s-s-shiny paper...not g-g-good taste." Jibbered the ghoul as Lythanor took the half-chewed parchment away. nn"How many times must I tell you!? Stop eating everything you come across!" Growled Lythanor as he dismissed his ghoul. "Hmm...let's see..." *Lythanor's eyes widen as he reads the tournament invitation and thinks back to Thorival's words on becoming stronger* "I suppose I should honor this invitation...*coughs violently* confound it...*reaches for a vial on the table and downs the contents.* "Grunge!" yelled the slightly distressed deathknight as the ghoul popped back out of the ground. nn"Yes, m-m-master...?" Chortled the ghoul.nn"Take this message to whoever sent this and tell them I'll attend their little...event" Smiled Lythanor as his ghoul trampled off into the night. "Oh, and Grunge...DON'T EAT ANYTHING!!"

[Swanthula]

Naked to the waste, Swanthula's lone figure can be seen kneeling in the sands of a deserted arena. With a bleached scoop crafted from the skull of some jungle serpent, she works intricate designs into the sand of the arena floor. She is transfixed, deep in concentration as she weaves threads of energy into the gladiatorial grounds. Preparing an unseen web of power for all of Nyx to dance on: as each body falls, the web will reverberate with rippling waves of life essence. And all the pain, glory, and vitality raised here will be trapped in the web, an offering of great power to the Dark Lady Nyx. As she rises, throwing her skirt to the wind, the emtied snake tails tied to her wrists and ankles begin to rattle in a frenzy. She dances in a whirl , each step meant to bind the symbol and prepare it for the upcoming battle. Her gold eyes gleam as the first glyph is complete. There is still much to prepare.
