Oh this looks like fun. If Naught were 80 I'd definitely be down for joining this.

This was a blast, i look forward to seeing any pics/videos that might have been taken. Also, im very sorry for having to leave right after Georgehoof had defeated me in the final round, I had something come up that needed my attention ( I logged out as a ghost in blade's edge ), I hope we can do more events like this and I look forward to it being more healer friendly.

Re: THE GRAND TOURNAMENT of Our Beloved Lady Nyx
This was a great experience for us. Think the more we do events similar to this, the more confident we'll be on the battlegrounds since the who 'fear of getting killed by a player' issue would be long gone. That'll definitely make a difference!nnAs much as I loved the experience, I have to give my two cents in hopes of finding ways to improve the event =)nn- Everyone for themselves, no formed teams. However, there wasn't anything stated about enemies helping each other until they decide to kill one another
. That was my tactic of survival. Remember, keep your friends close, your enemies, even closer.nn- Instead of having 3 all out melee competitions with the winners from the 3 competing at the end, let's get a tier system going:nnFirst Round: All out, no holds barred, fight with the last one standing. Only exception is if the last two fighting have a stalemate after 7 minutes of endless fighting. In that case, both win that round. Point of this round is pure survival.nnSecond Round: Selected team fighting. Four teams of 5 fight to the death (Ideally the 5v5 arena teams that are being formed this week). Point of this is teamwork. The winning team can select who goes to the final round (but can only select from those left standing. So if one is left, that one is going to the final round). However, the team as a whole will win a team prize.nnThird Round: All out, no holds barred, bridge fight. Similar to the first round except everyone participating has to remain on the bridge. If you are thrown off, or step off, you lose and must mount right away to get out of the way. The boundaries of the bridge is literally the bridge (The wood part), nothing else. Again, if more than one survives and the final 1v1 battle last more than 7 minutes, both will win that round. Point of this round is survival in close quarters.nnFourth Round: All champions from the last three rounds fight to the death. Last one standing wins. Should the last two fight for longer than 7 minutes, the leader of this event will time their fight for 2 minutes (with a yell warning) and the moment the two minutes are up, the one with the most HP wins. If both happen to have full health, we declare both the winner, split the earnings, and then everyone watching will go down and take them out =)nnSo, the point of all this is variety as oppose to 3 rounds of no holds barred. Hope you like my the idea ^_^nn~ Galeandra ^_^

Re: THE GRAND TOURNAMENT of Our Beloved Lady Nyx
The event itself was very enjoyable. I am glad people had fun and we will hold other events in the future.nnI was very disappointed on one point that had nothing to do with the organization of the event. This was an RP event. We just got done having a guild meeting where people expressed the desire for more face to face RP. Here we all were in a setting that was perfect for face to face RP. So what happened? Lots of in character discussion? No. When we had a bunch of us standing around there was lots of silliness that had nothing to do with our characters. That's not to say that there was no in character discussion or behavior, but far less than I expected there would be and much more behavior that we would have reported had somebody from outside the guild started doing in the midst of our event. In discussing it afterwords, it was brought up that there are many people in Nyx that are new to RP. We will be working more on events that help people learn how to RP and develop their characters.
