East Coast Team - this week
You can only spend so long building a boat before it's time to see if it floats, so we'll do our first run this week. Based on the responses I received, the nights which pose the fewest problems are F and Sat, so we will run those nights, starting promptly at 8.30 PM EST (that's 7.30 server). We can go three hours as usual or longer since it's the weekend, but that would have to be unanimous.nLah, if you could please calendar it so we can monitor the sign ups, I'd appreciate it.nnThis is not a ward-associated team, it is our team. Also, it's not my team but I've unwittingly ended up with some mantle of administrative duty, which is fine. I'll take care of trying to get flasks and fish from the GB, but you must come with your own flasks. Anything I get from the GB is for an emergency. I'm not going to scour everyone's gear and gems and chants - I am trusting that everyone is confident in their equipment. Check yourself on wow-heroes.com - there should be a yellow or green bar under ICC10. nnI will handle the loot - we will use the same +1 system used guild-wide, with MS and OS rolls. I will DE unwanted gear for the GB. n nOne thing I do need from one of you please is a volunteer to be the ... I don't know, combat master. I expect everyone to please read up on the fights on bosskillers or watch the videos - I am pretty all of us have done ICC to some extent (I'm 8/12, if anyone cares). That said, I need someone who really knows the overall fight to give the 60-second run down before the fights, and also to keep an eye on the raid for things like people standing in the goo or whatever. I don't have the time (or desire, to be frank) to learn everyone's role in a fight, and when I am healing, I tend to get vapor-locked on the tank and myself (unless I'm raid-healing, which I almost never do). Historically, it always seems to be the tanks who do this, but I don't really care who does it, though I will love and cherish whoever steps up and does this for us. Eventually, if the team runs well, this is a role that will become less relevant (unless we are a collective of dunces - lol).nnThis team is about having fun so there's no need to stress this if you are a fairly new raider or new to your role.

nnGeneral event please - I didn't know what is the etiquette re stepping on other guild events and so on - I do not want to disrupt guild events but i of course want maximum participation. Despite the number of people who said F/Sat works for them, I'm still clenching my teeth.Asarelah wrote:nnDo you want a closed event with ONLY those on the team invited ?? I know that Grawlix was in our PT raid tonight so we might have a problem with Tanks again. I can Tank it on the druid if I regemed my dps gear and reenchanted it. I have the 11 gems they just need to be cut into +30 sta. As far as the enchants go. I will have to get with Lah and get my gear reenchanted on my druid if needed. I might have around 55k health and around 25% dodge with raid buff inside of ICC.
Never argue with stupid people they only bring you down to their level and win by experience.

Grawlix was the one person who couldn't make F/Sat, to my dismay, but I think we still have 2 tanks.

Tankspot.com has video guides of the boss fights - they're reasonably short and well-explained.

There are a ton of videos there, I don't know in which ones and in what order to view.
