The Fishing Coach is Back!!!

Postby Thulcondar » Sat Sep 11, 2010 1:34 pm

Well, here it is. As most of you know, I have been working these last four and a half years for nJANUS Research Group collecting the history of the Global War on Terror for the nU.S. Army Signal Corps. The SC has decided to let the contract expire and, as of this writing, JANUS has not offered...me another job. I have applied andapplied everywhere possible for another history job both in public history and in education. The jobs are just not out there or they just don’t want me. nnSo…. nnAs of this date, I am resurrecting my bass fishing guide business!!! YES, The Fishing Coach is back! I will be guiding on Lake Russell on the border of Georgia and South Carolina in the Savannah River chain of lakes. This will not be easy and I am under no mistaken impression that I can come even close to equaling my JANUS paycheck. But, this is the sate of things so we must move on. nnIf you are on Facebook you can find me here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/pages/Lake-Russell-Bass-Fishing-with-the-Fishing-Coach/156802937668905?ref=tsnYou can also visit my WEBSITE. http://www.thefishingcoach.com/nnLife is a long journey with many twists and turns. This is just another one of them. I appreciate all your prayers and interest.

It's amazing the path that life leads us on. This sounds like a really fun job even if the paycheck is less.

I know what you mean Thomas, my first boss in California was named Richard Finger. He was a real D...er,.. personality.nnThis month I sent him a little love letter from my office. It was called a Tax Default Notice. nnThe world does spin a tricky axis.

Thanks for all the encouragement. This won't be easy on a 60 year old body!

You're only as old as you feel and with all the fresh air you should be feeling pretty good!
