Well. We fought Al'ar and brought him into his second phase twice.

I think it's the most complex thing we've done as a guild, and some things we did amazingly well and other things we just have to figure out, like melee DPS.

Next time!

It was fun, and it was painful. We battled several times against A'lar and got him to about 75% int he 2nd phase. The progression was a lot like the first night at Magtheridon where we wiped a lot, but learned the fight. I dont think anyone really did anything stupid to wipe the raid or anything, we just need to update strategy and perhaps react faster. Everyone was working pretty well together, and handling the challenge maturely.

High hopes/confidence we can bring him down next time!

In terms of strategy, we need to come up will a way to effectively handle adds, keep the melee dps group alive, and avoid quills (which doesnt come up on DeadlyBossMods). Poor linkan trying to call out quill and we all trying to jump off the ledge in time got a bit frustrating, but we'll get it.

Time to watch more strategy videos!

It went very well, we got the first phase down, the only change we will do is that those adds will be tanked down stairs. It not only keep melee safe from Quill, but also makes it way easier to heal them.

Second phase, we will have some extra work on adds tanking, with ranged dps responding faster.

We definitivally can do it.

You know you're close to the enrage timer when:

The raid leader shouts "Healers DPS!"

Do we have any other images besides this? At the time of this image, I was behind Al'ar eating. ^^;;
