An archive of our old forum data has now been uploaded to this server, and is visible at
http://www.thenyx.org/oldforum/

You can still login on the old forum to read emails, etc. There's no theme beyond the phpbb default on there however, so things will be a bit ugly. ;; We haven't disabled posting yet, mainly because phpBB2's permissions settings are a real pain to use, but that'll all be done in due time.

It is good IMO to have access to these old forums as they still hold vast amounts of knowledge about different things. Thanx for finding them and giving us access to them.

A big thank you must also go out to Khallah, who got us a gzipped dump from the previous server, making the whole proces a *lot* easier.

I miss those 2. They were like a set of ingame parents except for good ones. I would love to see them post here or at least keep in touch. I learned so much from Wakanda and Khallah. As well as the rest of the old crew.

This may be a good place to request that those who left either Nyx or The Twilight Umbrage on good terms have access added to this site. Nyx has long held that such be welcomed home should they return. I would be quite disappointed if an inadvertant consequence of our merger and this new guildhall would be to exclude those who left on good terms. I know it means more work, but it's the right thing to do.

Eyesore

We do actually have a specific usergroup set up for former members. All they need to do is register, and let us know.

An urge to re-read Eyesore's origin story, and to visit with friends long lost, led me to visit the Old Forum Archive. I went to The Bard's Chamber, a place of special memories, and was confronted with several threads featuring porn and drug offers. The posts were made today, and seeing the same author's name for other forums, I must assume they have been slimed as well.nnI respectfully request that someone with administrative authority remove the very un-Nyx-like postings, but otherwise preserve our archives.nnThanks in advance.nnEyesore

Powers have been given to Aitana so she'll be able to clean up the mess. Registrations on there should've been locked, not sure why they hadn't been, but they are now.
