Re: A New Name For the Ward of Lore!
I see alot of intersting ideas and I think as long as we keep to Ward of *_________* we will keep some continuity and we should all keep in mind Lady Nyx represents the Darkness and the Night as well as the mysteries and wisdom associated with it.nnJust a thought but for those of you familiar with the Elder Scrolls series of games they have some interesting factions and naming conventions that could be helpfull in coming up with some ideas.

I agree with the need for ward of .....something or another...I like legends and possible something that has to do with story btelling or story creators..this is by all means what we do. We create the stories..we create the legends. I think if we are to change lore we could also be the ward of history. Or maybe Ward of unsung heroes. ...Ward of Storytellers. I like the idea of moving into a name that has ward in it because we are structured under wards...I know its been said and beaten but it is neccesary that we stay under the name of ward.

But then we'll need weekly raids of The Shrine of the Silver Monkey... >.> That totally can't be done with less than forty people.

Prefer current Ward of Lore, because it has served just fine.nnAlternatives that include "Lore" and would therefor make no change necessary in the character notes where we have the guild "lore" tag:nnOur Lady's Ward of LorenOur Lady's Ward of Dark LorenOur Lady's Wardroom of LorenThe Lore WardroomnDark Lore WardroomnWardroom for LorenWardroom of LorenWardroom of Nyx LorennEyesore

Having said what I prefer above, I will put this on the table...the concept of wards or wardrooms implies a structure based on locations. Lah introduced a more tribal, relationship-based concept to Nyx that has gained a following over the past two years without any apparent dissent. To the degree that "Tribe" may actually represent us, it would be consistent to speak of subdivisions as "Clans" and their leaders as "Clan Leaders" verse Nightwarders. I like what we built, mayhap because I had a minor role in its development, but I can enjoy a change as well.nnTribe: NyxnnClans: Lore, Growth, War, TrialsnnEyesore
