Re: A New Name For the Ward of Lore!
As a member of Nyx I would say we need to maintain a unity with the other wards. If each ward is going to be changing their name then I am all for picking something outside of the usual box like Dark Legacy or some such. nnHowever... if the names of the other wards are staying the same then I would suggest that we maintain a similar name to them as it promotes unity between all the wards. I, for one, actually like the idea of Ward of Lore the way it is, however if a new name is needed I would suggest we go with any of the following.nnWard of the Dark KeepersnWard of Shadow DancersnWard of Umbral KnowledgennI guess, what I'm trying to get at is the unity I meantioned earlier. Are the other wards going to be picking new names, with which we can exercise our full creativity and maybe even help them pick new names? I might have different suggestions if that's the case. As it is, those are the best "Ward of" names that I've got at the moment. If I think of others, I'll toss them up here too.

Re: A New Name For the Ward of Lore!
I'll preface this with a disclaimer. My opinion is my own and not a command.nnI am fond of the "Ward of ____" convention for naming the wards. I like the functionality and consistency of it. I really like some of the suggestions that have been offered that follow that convention.nnI do not have any particular loyalty to the name "Ward of Lore," although I do like it. It is much better than the original name "Ward of Roleplay." I think that was just plan bad because it was an out of character name for a ward related to all things in character. All the other ward names were more in character than that was.

I will echo Aitana's words here, and am... not pleased with the thought of Lore not being a "Ward". Our entire structure is Ward based.nnThis opinion is also my own, and in no way a command.nnFrankly, I will not be pleased should the name of the "Ward" be changed to anything other than "Ward of". And I was shocked this morning when this crossed my attention, and I was lead to believe that Aitana and Warburn sanctioned it.nnIf this is seriously being considered I reserve the right to say stronger words on it at a later time, should there be need.nn*seriously frowns*

We did sanction it. It is up to the ward. But that does not mean that it is my personal preference.

nnKindly do not put words in my mouth. I made it very clear this morning that this was news to me.Also, the idea had already been set off with proper sanction, so expressing discontent of the idea on this thread instead of participating and submitting names is somewhat contradictory.
