Unforseen Blessing (Shanazeela's background)

Frei'a Sunsorrow wraps her scarf tighter around her face, straining to see out into the vast desert of Tenaris, despite the heavy sandstorm blowing overhead. The water tower, or what remained of it, lay in ruins before her, along with a nearby village engulfed in flames. Her curiosity overwhelmed her, and she trudged through the thick sand towards the ruins, peering within each hut as she passed. Movement in a nearby building caught her attention, and as she came closer, the sight struck something deep inside of herself.
Within the ruins of a hut, a mother Sand Troll lay clutching a newborn baby, drenched in her own blood. As her life slowly faded, she reached out towards the Blood Knight, gurgling blood.
"P...pleh's...mah beh'beh...Teh'k caih' o' huu'...Ah did all Ah cuu'd ta seh'ph huu'... Pleh's.. give huu' a home.."
Taking the dying Troll's words to heart, she retrieved the crying babe from her mother's arms, and left the hut, only to see it crumple to ash behind her as she returned to the Goblin compound nearby.
As she neared Gadgetzan, her husband, Drae'khan, emerged from the Tavern.
"So.. How did the excevation....go.."
His voice trailed off as he noticed the newborn in his wife's arms.
"What.. is this?"
"This is all that's left of the Sand chieftain's raid...Come on Drae'... We can't leave her to die! Let's take her with us.. Besides, she has your eyes!"

Silvermoon City, the city is abuzz with the return of the renown Sunsorrow Blood Knight's campaign in Tenaris. As they come through the city gates, a crowd of their beloved bretheren await them with open arms, praising the Sunwell that their journey was a safe one. As soon as the cheers grew, they halted at the sight of the child in Frei'a's arms.
"What is this.. thing you brought within our city walls?! We demand an explanation!"
Drae'kahn stepped forward, placing an arm behind him, shielding his wife from the others.
"This is our... daughter.. We adopted her. She is going to be another Sunsorrow blood knight. Just like her parents."
The others gathered around for a moment, and then ushered one of them forward. The young Blood Knight stammered, avoiding Drae'kahn's malevolent gaze.
"W-we can let her learn the ways of the light with us, but we cannot let her become a Blood Knight.. She is one of... them for the Sunwell's sake!"
"Fine.. We will allow you to train her the ways of the light." Drae' replied with a sigh of relief. He turned back to his wife, smiling. "See? It's not so bad..She might turn out to be the turning point we needed in our lives..."
