-After the Death of Viera Sunwhisper the following signed transcript has been delivered to us in accordance to her wishes. There is no next of kin. The only things found in her personal bank account were several pounds of Bloodthistle that have subsequently been confiscated and burned and a record of a meeting of a supposed underground organization within the SilverMoon Nobility which according to her testimony, is called ,“Coterie Of Silver Houses”.
-If what is written here is to be believed, the recent string of “accidental” deaths of over 15 high ranking SilverMoon Officials and their entire families is the result of a single person. The testimony will now be read into the official files and I will add notes along with it as pertinent to the investigation.

-To be delivered to the Silvermoon Internal Security Forces upon the discovery of my death.
( note – she was turned into a rat and eaten by a local cat named ,“Twinkle”. Events still under investigation )


They have been murdered. All those people and their poor families who have been dying in those strange “accidents” have all been the victims of a woman who I helped kill over 20 years ago. We destroyed her family and any records of its existence in a desperate attempt to shift the blame of crimes so monstrous that I can't bring myself to write them down. The Coterie is meeting again soon to discuss it ... the bastards all they do is discuss and preach from their positions in unassailable power while I myself have been forced to flee from these crimes all the way to Outland. (note – her last known whereabouts were at Falcon Point. ) But I doubt that I have run far enough and with all these “adventurers” flocking through the portal to this disgusting waste hole of a dimension, she is bound to find me. So I am writing down all the events that have led to my demise and anything else I can think of to nail that little bitch. I won't let her kill me without bringing her and them all down with me.
I have just returned from the meeting. From the tone of it all, we are more like clay pigeons than part of an elite society that has manipulated events in Silvermoon for the better part of centuries. God, I can still remember when my grandfather brought me in and told me how the world really worked, and now I just want to wake up from this nightmare. Two more whole families were “dealt with” .... it sickens me the way that these people talk about their own friends like they didn't even exist let alone matter. It brings the total to fifteen families, well over 100 ( note – total now exceeds 145 with all possible leads going nowhere accept for one. ) men, women and children, it's like she is some kind of monster. OH GOD! there is something at the window.... if I die right now her name is Miaoyin.
Blasted wench has me jumping at shadows...just that bitche's cat, “Twinkles” again. I sent the little beast scurrying away with a tossed quill. To understand why she is doing it all I guess I will have to explain what happened from the beginning.
Over 300 years ago the High Elves were enjoying prosperity and power the likes of which can only come along once in a generation, however, that kind of power and money breeds excess and debauchery. In order to keep the lesser nobles and the average citizenry in check, it was decided by us that only certain people should be in power and began meeting tri-annually in a small hotel off Murder Row. They called themselves, “The Coterie” just another title that self appointed would be elitists love to give themselves to make them believe that they are doing something for their cities but more like lining their pockets. The “Coterie” eventually became fat and drunk with their own power manipulating elections and public office along with just about everything else that goes on in the city. They also decided to enforce their decisions with the appointment of a special “post” that would be given absolute power to intimidate, bribe and steal any secrets they wanted or needed... or just plain killed any opposition that got in the way. This was the House of Yin. The original head of the house was an old Thief and assassin named Celinis Yin. He taught his family members what they needed and each and every generation became more and more deadly as his skills were passed from one to the other. The last head of the household was a domineering old Matriarch named Xellgoddess, I remember meeting her once as a child and I could see it in her eye that she could have killed me if she wanted .... just on a whim... we made that family into beasts rather than anything even close to the Elven ideal that we preached. But just over 20 years ago all the evidence of one of the Yin's investigations pointed at one of the “Coterie” as the prime suspect of the massive theft from the royal treasury. As far as I know the bastards were guilty as sin and deserved whatever fate the Yins would visit upon them and you can bet that it wouldn't be quick and it wouldn't be painless. Luckily for them, the head of their house was a smart old blowhard and he put it to the “Coterie” that we should do away with the House of Yin since it seemed like they had grown too untouchable for their own good and what kind of dog do you keep around that can bite its own master's hand. Every single one of them were killed and every single piece of proof that they even existed was erased from every file. From the servants, the pets, to distant cousins and even a human named Addle in Darkshire who didn't even know he had elven blood flowing in his veins, him and his farm were burned to the ground. Well over 300 people that we ourselves put into that position were wiped out in a single night. (note – none of this can be confirmed ) All but the three daughters of Xellgoddess Mia , Zari and Rali were saved by the “Great Bear Mother” Auhbrum an old druid who had served the Yin's as a hidden house pet, spirited the girls away in the night. Mia the oldest was taught everything that murderous old crone had to teach and was well on her way to becoming the new head of the family when we struck.
All contact was lost. Every lead came up empty and every time we got close they either wound up finding an abandoned camp.... or never reported back. Nerisen a rogue trainer in Murder Row approached us a few years back as he believed that he had found the eldest daughter. We put that old drunkard into the Yin's old position and his title of trainer allowed him to mold the minds of thousands of possible operatives to grow an organization even bigger than before. Before we had a chance to do anything about his reports ,one of our number was struck down by a seemingly innocent house fire and he and his family burned alive in their sleep. All his records went up in smoke as well and since the “Coterie” had become so bloated with self worth, it took months before we even realized that he was the keeper of records and had every piece of information on our organization and its members. However, since it seemed like he died in a fire and his records went up with him, it was just dismissed as an unhappy accident. Soon though, we received a letter with the Seal of the House of Yin dug into the wax holding it closed and all it read was ,“ I know everything. ”
That night there was another strange accident. A whole family seemed to have been fed rat poison in their evening meal...... The cook was arrested and convicted since she was the most likely suspect at the time. ( note – confirmed ) Another note arrived soon after with the words, “Revenge is a dish best served often.”
As it turns out, some of that old bastards records had evidence of every single crime and treasonous act that we have ever committed, and to prove it she sent a prominent local politician a gift in the form of the SISF knocking down his door in the middle of the night hauling the entire family away to never be heard from again. ( note – confirmed : anonymous tip given to the SISF led to the arrest of -- --- -------- and subsequent execution ) She has used this leverage over us to set up her sisters with training inside the city itself, and that evil bitch can even walk the streets without fear of reprisal from us as she picks us off one after the other. Zari ... now named Zariyin a hunter is in training and Raliyin the youngest is being given special training as a warlock..... That bitch is smart choosing vocations for her sisters that are so compartmentalized that they are not affected by any kind of political pressure whatsoever. Since the Farstriders are practically ostracized within the city walls and the less people want to know what those demonic creatures under Murder Row known as warlocks get up to, the happier they are. Miaoyin even going so far as to align herself with the Nyxian Tribe is now virtually untouchable by any standard since they are powerful and loyal allies with the potential to wipe out whole cities if they feel like one of their own has been wronged. That bitch....odds are that she will seek admittance for her younger siblings into The Nyx and then they will be stronger than ever.
I don't know what will happen to me so I am leaving this letter with the mage Inethven a powerful man in local circles that I can only hope is off the beaten path enough that he will go unnoticed by the Yin. (note – confirmed it was Inethven that gave us the letter) I just hope that the “Coterie” doesn't bury this like they have everything else about this matter... or they will until they are so few left that they have no choice but to admit to the truth... and get hung for their trouble no doubt. The only contentment I can feel is knowing that “The Coterie” has tendrils far more reaching than Mia realizes and even extends to many Alliance guild and families of position that she will never get to.

I only hope my end is swift. That is a small mercy she can give me.
