~some time in the morning of 16 July 2009~
It started innocently enough...

One of our younglings (Hristoforos on an alt, and Soladanus ??) were minding their own business in the field, working near the Wyrmrest Temple in the Dragonblight on Northrend, and landed squarely in the crosshairs of an Alliance Hunter; becoming mercilessly camped.

Hristo called for help from the Tribe, and Bhootam rallied a war cry, which many answered. And a single camp of our Tribe members by Jarlengold resulted in the camping of the campers, then on to the sacking of Stars' Rest.

The Tribe was augmented by the Hands; and the Horde Assembly of War then included Umbral Champion Hristoforos, followed by Nightwarder Asarelah, Umbral Champion Ezraella, Lord Vindicator Jeriden Dawnbringer, Desias, Sunseting, Ebontusk, Victoar, Soladanus, and Nattura.

~16 July 2009, The burning of Kingship Headquarters in Westgaurd Keep then on to Valgarde, in Howling Fjord~

The Tribe was augmented by the Hands; and the Horde Assembly of War then included Umbral Champion Hristoforos,
followed by Nightwarder Asarelah, Umbral Champion Ezraella, Lord Vindicator Jeriden Dawnbringer, Desias, Sunseting,
Ebontusk, Victoar, Soladanus, and Nattura.

The group swelled, and became a Raid, next pillaging the Headquarters of the Kingship of the East in Westguard Keep, then
finally sacking Valgarde, each site in Howling Fjord.

Additional Responders were not limited to but included Partedhair, Aminar, Saehdiz, Azidahaka, Horrere, Oneka, Scarhoof,
Umbra, Nakoichi, Tsaphaan, and Dulsathoom.

Lead by Umbral Champion Hristoforos, the Horde Assembly of War arrived in Howling Fjord.


The arrival of the forces in Westgaurd Keep was met with little or no opposition.


The Citadel itself was quickly taken, and held for an extended period of time.


Westguard fell quickly; there were bodies everywhere.


Fighting continued outside the Keep.


Then the Inn was taken. There was even time for a cup of tea, so slow was the Kingship's reponse to the razing of their Citadel.


Back to work.....


A handful of Kingship finally responded...




Fighting continued in and out of the Inn; and then the fight was moved to the Howling Fjord Capital of Valgarde.










The Order was given to withdraw; all were ordered upstairs in the Valgarde Inn, and into a portal quickly thrown up by Mage Dulsathoom.




Followed by the fearless Mage Dulsathoom, Nightwarder Asarelah and Lord Vindicator Dawnbringer were among the last to evacuate.


All arrived safely in Orgrimmar.


Then went on to Undercity for final photographs of the Raid.

(( Pictures of second raid to Kingship headquarters lead by Lord Vindicator Jeriden Dawnbringer of the Hand of the Phoenix in Borean Tundra to come. Their King RAN past his men, and left them to die, when we charged. ))

The Raid was led by Lord Vindicator Jeriden Dawnbringer, followed by Nightwarder Asarelah, Lord Commander Patrocinor, Vallant Rothinzil, Umbral Champion Leothiel, Umbral Champion Ishar, Karei, Umbra, Krasnak, Rhunakhor, Fendolf, Mehtahz, Zigra, Tasera, Partedhair, Durall, Scarhoof, Oneka, Kylaesa, Desias, ThomasBecket, Khrul, Rasscal, Zurluk, Olark, Rajaya, Reasa, Op and Humbly.

Commander Dawnbringer split the Horde Assembly of War in to two attack forces; the Army by land from below, and the Officers airborne from above.




The landing from the Alliance zepplin was easily managed, and little resistance given when the Horde Assembly took over the Westgaurd Keep flight deck.








Both Strike Forces converged and entered the Keep.




The King's Room was held, held again, and held some more, for the better part of an hour...






A moment was taken for a photograph of the Invasion of the Horde Assembly of War in occupation of the King's Room of Westguard Keep.


Whispers from a Horde minion; believed to be under the control of the Kingship.


Kingship of the East finally responded to the Capture of their Headquarters.




King Hinick was spotted outside, and the Order given by the Lord Vindicator to advance down each staircase.




Ordered by Dawnbringer, both forces pour out of the right and left doors, charging the defending Kingship.




King Hinick Flees; running past his own men, leaving them to die as the Horde Assembly of War pursues.


Chase is given; but neither King Hinick, nor his men, stop running.


The Assembly of the Horde claims Westguard Keep.


Afterward, the entire Assembly ported to Dalaran where the Alliance Inn was the site of much celebration and dancing in the streets.

We need to step up our assaults on the Kingship. Their King fled from battle before His subjects and I have evidence they have a vendetta against the Lady and those that follow her:

I have heard from Lady Asarelah that you will soon be organizing a defensive posture to protect Nyxians and other Horde from the wrath of the Kingship, and those like them.

My Valiant, Rothinzil, thinks along similar goals, and shall be your point of contact for our support in the matter. I would respectfully ask that you coordinate with him. He is my Second-in-Command, to keep you in the loop. I know he would be eager to work out a schedule for patrols and the like. To also keep you in the loop, he is about 'prevention' and 'deterrance.' Violence begets violence, so don't be suprised if he is highly defensive in nature. He is also a skilled tactician.

After being chased from fishing hole to fishing hole, attacked by a Rogue, the fiend had the audacity to instruct one of his Horde minions to whisper in my ear.....

It appears we have declared an open War.....

When I mentioned this incident, I was met with reports of many very similiar incidents over the past several days. I demand relief for our youngers being set upon while going about their daily duties in the field !!

Although I participate in banter with members of Nyx from time to time, I do respect them as opponents. It's a battlefield out there, and it'd be foolish to hold back forces to make things 'fair' when you could instead go full force and destroy your opponents.

If you're after a 'fair' battle, then go find members of your own faction and duel them, or spend your time in the arenas or battlegrounds where numbers are balanced. There is no shame in calling in backup when you're outnumbered or even just outguned. For example today I hunted down a Nyx priest in the Grizzly Hills, and one of their paladins came to help. Unable to defeat this opponent on my own I ended up calling in some help as well, and rather than be stupid and fight three of us on her own, the said paladin left. Dishonorable? I see no honor in throwing your life away for nothing. As annoying as it is to see my enemy fly away when the tables turn, I know I'd have done the same if there were three horde flying around me.

Long have my exploits been the antagonist to the Kingship and their Allies. I now wish to take part in fronting the opposition against those that wear those colours. We may have to divert some resources from going against the Scourge and the insubordinate titans to going against the Alliance. Kingship and their allies will need to be treated with less mercy. I am also suspicious of spies on the Horde side ready to communicate our intents to the Alliance. How can we ferret them out?

It's difficult, to say the least, Leothiel.

Vigilance is the price of freedom.

It is going to involve a lot of 'last minute' detail planning. Or a campaign of misdirection. Or both.

One of the systematic camps of Nyxian citizens occurred outside the entrance to the Lair of Onyxia on 24 July 2009. King Hinik lead a full war party against a group trying to enter the cave, and stood watch for a long while awaiting their return to life. Finally, they buggered off, where to or for what reason was unknown at that time.
