After the festivities of Brewfest, Leothiel and Oneille stepped away from the group and went to Silvermoon. Some wondered why they were departing. Leothiel cited "Personal matters." They were to meet with Jeriden and Asarelah for a significant discussion. Only Jeriden was able to show up but would relay what transpired to Lah. The discussion was about wedding plans. More accurately: A date and making arrangements for Leo's parents and sister to come to the wedding. Afterwards, Leothiel and Oneille scouted out locations.

The trees in the Stormwind park were turning their colors on a cool October afternoon. Thaelen and Anaria were having a discussion on some rings. "Why do you need three signet rings? Vira is not old enough to handle family affairs on her own?" Thaelen answered with "The third ring is not for Vira. She will have hers in time. Thieldren lost his when the Scourge took him and we never gave Leothiel his ring when he came of age. The third ring is for the next Frosthawk." Anaria looked puzzled. Just then, there was a knock on the window. Thaelen looked over and saw something blue that was fluttering and had an envelope in its jaw. That looks like Leothiel's whelp he thought. He let the dragon whelp inside. In it were three letters: One was addressed to all of the members of the family, another to Thaelen directly, and the third to Anaria.
The one addressed to both of them was from Leothiel.
"My Dear Parents,
A date has been set for the wedding. It is on the last day of Hallow's End with the ceremony to commence at the 8th hour after noon at Duskwither Grounds in Eversong. As long as Thieldren, Jeriden, Asarelah, or myself accompany you; you will be safe in Quel'thalas. Give Vira a hug from us. I expect a reply and have instructed Azureus to remain with you until you have one ready.
Your son,
Leothiel
PS Oneille has written letters for you two"
Thaelen and Anaria opened their respective letters from Oneille. Three rings?, thought Anaria. "That's right: Oneille is the next Frosthawk." Azureus flew to a windowsill and placed himself there to sleep.

The day after Azureus arrived with the letters, Thaelen and Anaria had their replies ready. They were at peace seeing the small dragon whelp sleeping on the windowsill. They wondered what a dragon whelp would eat. They fed Azureus some meat from the table. He was visibly happy and refreshed from sleeping all day.
"Our Dear Son,
We will make it to Silvermoon in the middle of that week for your wedding and Vira is joining us. We want her to see more of the homeland of the Quel'dorei.
We Love You,
Father, Mother, Vira
*scrawling handwriting on the bottom looks like it's from Vira*"
"Dear Oneille,
When you marry into the family, never think of your self once as a daughter-in-law: You will be a daughter. As we have written to Leothiel: We will arrive mid-week for the wedding. We want Vira to see the Homeland.
We Love You,
Thaelen, Anaria, Vira"
Thaelen attached both letters to Azureus and sent him off.

Oneille sighed heavily as she sat on the bench inside a crowded Ogrimmar tavern. Late afternoon and still the deary thoughts of the druid lingered. Hidden behind a heavy linen cowl and cloak, Oneille drank down dingy water handed to her by the innkeeper. Bitter and hard to swallow but still Oneille kept drinking. As her mind wandered she found herself focusing less on the druid now and more on the letters she wrote to the Lord and Lady Frosthawk. Whispering to herself, "I wondered what they're doing right now...probably rejoicing knowing I'm marrying their son...I am not just marrying him I am gaining a whole family. More people to know and love." Lifting her mug to her lips she felt a sudden pain spread through her left cheek, a dull sting that tore through the flesh. Wincing the sensation back Oneille urgently placed the mug down and cupped her face.
"What the..." gazing at her right palm she notice a small, dotted line of red rivlets line her hand. At the same time a searing pain dulled, shimmered, and flamed as the blood became recongized from an earlier cut to her cheek. Gasping the warlock felt the warm trickle of fresh blood ooze out from her wound.
"Ahh! Goddess!" then it donned on her the bear, the druid thing he cut her cheek didn't he...why hadn't she observed it sooner. By now the blood free flowed from her cheek down in a small streak. The cut must have healed but not well enough. Face flushed and red Oneille put her coinage on the counter top, rushing hands pulled the cowl tightly to her face as she made her way out of the inn. Oneille fleed from the inn her face red and furrowing in confusion. "What happened to me? That..he..cut me...he cut me...the druid cut me!"
Free flowing tears streaked down Oneille's face mixing with the blood as she took to the hidden shadows of Ogrimmar hoping no one would see her. Finally escaping the hidden view of orcs and trolls she found the tinker shop she made her get-a-way longue. Quietly she traveresed the stairwell and found her tattered pallet and satchel right where she left it (thank the gods!). In the early evening hush she sought the dirty and grimy blanket which her tightly wrapped about her body. Craddling the foul smelling cloth she rolled her body into a fetal position eyes weak she begged for sleep. And before long Oneille slept in a fit hoping Leothiel would return soon. As sleep claimed her at last the cut on her cheek still burned.

*Saturday afternoon*
Thieldren was in Dalaran visiting Leothiel. They had a rather raucous time talking and drinking in Legedermain Lounge. Soon the discussion turned to the upcoming wedding and related events. Despite having a slight buzz, Leothiel could sense envy on his brother. "I take it you are envious." Thieldren's face froze up. He went to say something to lie to deny it. Then he said "Yes, I am envious of you. You charmed the girls when you were in school and some of your life reads like those of prolific lovers. Now you have someone special to marry."
Leothiel took a sip of his drink and replied with, "News of the sowing of my wild oats are greatly exaggerated. I used to spend my charms on many women. Oneille... Oneille is too special for me. The day I was lovesick and followed her into Un'goro Crater was the day I knew she was special and thus the one for me. All of my charms now belong to her."
Thieldren smiled brightly and said "It's time to give those oats one more chance."
Leothiel gave a look of puzzlement. "What?"
"There's still a bachelor party coming up with you as the guest of honor. I am booking the seediest place for that: The World's End Tavern in Shattrath. Blue-skinned women both scantily clad and unclad will be at your service that night." Thieldren let out a hearty laugh and left his cash on the table for the bartender. "You have a good afternoon brother, duty calls me."
"Al diel shala, Thieldren."
Leothiel finished up his drink and paid his bar tab. He went outside and a messenger came for him. It was a letter from Oneille. The night before, some druid named Truuk had attempted some advances on her. She had been hiding in Orgrimmar. Leothiel took a portal in Dalaran to Orgrimmar to look for her. He had a sketch of her and asked some guards. She was found above the alchemist shop still alive. When he saw her, he put his sword on the floor and checked her pulse. Good, he thought. He saw a wound on her and bandaged her. Oneille stirred awake yet delirious. Leothiel picked her up. When she stood up, she pulled her cowl back to reveal the scratch the druid made. "Shall we get to Silvermoon?" She nodded.
He opened up a portal to Silvermoon and they stepped through it. When they arrived outside of Sunfury Spire, they saw Oneille's sister Cobriana. The three made their way back to Oneille's apartment. She was beginning to feel cold from her wound. Cobriana and Leothiel were scrambling for a healer. A follower of the Lady Nyx, Strause, answered the call and headed over immediately. The bandage Leo applied earlier just healed the wound but evidently it was infected. Strause cleansed Oneille of the disease. Leothiel and Cobriana stayed behind as Oneille rested.
After a couple of hours, she was ready to take on the titans of Ulduar. After the assault on Ulduar, Leothiel offered to stay with Oneille that night. That night, she was protected by the loving embrace of her winged lion.

Leothiel and Oneille gathered outside the Wayfarer Rest in Silvermoon City listening to the tribal stories of those about. The small group formed about the outside fountain sharing the tales and reliving the past one sentence at a time. The mood was pleasant but only for now...regardless the peace of the storytime, war hung within the air. It's funny how the mood shifts from wholesome to woeful when battle is on the horizon. Leothiel is the Nightwarder of War as such his duties take him from the homeland to battles abroad.
As the stories ended and a voting began a fellow Nyxer summoned forth their Brewfest Maiden and soon beer was abound. Little else mattered as there was beer and ale to go about. Leothiel and his consort took their share without much concern. There were other concerns for the Lord Frosthawk. Seems that the taint of the druid Truuk lingered as heavy as a morning fog. Oneille stood quiet with eyes forward, mind elsewhere. All she thought of was her lord and minding where her thoughts lead her about him (none were wholesome by any means!). Young and in love is the reason for both lovers to act as they do, but Oneille shuddered at coming back to the night of the druid. She felt weak and sick which was noticeable by her sister Wiindriider.
Perhaps the Brewfest beer was the cause? Maybe the excess drinking left her dizzy? Whatever the reason Oneille excused herself but not before wishing her lord well in battle and kissing him tenderly. Wiindriider figured if Oneille was sick best she get some rest. Agreeing the two sisters headed back to the inn where Oneille rested. Wiindy went ahead scouting the area while Onei walked behind. Soon Oneille found an open bed and shivering she laid upon it, Wiindy shifted to her feline form beginning to stalk about the upper level only to come back to Oneille and drape a woven blanket over her. Oneille grasped the cover tightly about her chest.
Resting and sleeping off the drunkeness, Oneille slept the time away as Leothiel charged into victory in Warsong Glutch. Victorious! Awakening there after the warlock stretched and realized there was a tribal call to seek riches against the Direbrew fellow again...heeding the call Oneille gathered her belongings, made the group, and made her way to the Undercity. Here she met with Cocheli. Using her remote she found on her last visit to the Direbrew the Mole Tunneler managed to rumble the earth, splitting it open, taking the crew to Black Rock Depths.
Elsewhere the Lord Frosthawk fought and braved the Shadowmoon Valley dangers helping the Netherwing reclaim their birthright. Oneille remembered those days...As Oneille made her way to Nagrand there came a flash of inspiration: let's take to the sky!
Leothiel finished with his tasks and duties in Shadowmoon following the whispers of his beloved. He found his lioness perched atop a floating island and tonight he was more than eager to be with her. Inspite of all the pain and suffering these moments lost in beauty of Nagrand are heartfelt.
"And yes little Roo wants to start practicing frost magic, though I wouldn't expect a oracle child to want that..." giggling to herself Oneille rested her head to Leothiel's chest smiling. "He wants to be like you you've inspired him. Love, he's going to need that."
Leothiel smirked finding the notion a pleasant one. Both lovers share a common goal of seeing their people thrive and prosper...however dark clouds loomed overhead. Leothiel eventually took his leave and Oneille returned home but the drums of war still echoed in the distance.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*Next day early afternoon*
She breathed heavy as the false king loomed over her the edge of his weapon gleaming. The cold air rasping from his lips she gave him no satisfaction of seeing her sweat, instead Oneille let the ravenous man take the final swing that sent her to a black out. Cold winds blew over the weakend elven woman. Like a curtain of blood the crimson hair of the Lady Brightgrove pooled about her head as her prone figure lay motionless to the chilled climate of Northrend. At no accord of his own, Hinik eyed her as though she'd awaken. Rasping escaped her lips, lungs coiling to keep her alive.
An almost inaudible voice croaked out to the hearthstones of those nearby. "Assembly...he...lp..." the voice rasped one last time till it passed into nothingness. In a manner of moments the rally sprung forth. Several warriors flew the distance and aided the young elf. Carefully in the heat of battle strong arms grabbed Oneille whisking her away from danger. In the distance roars of anger become jarred, howls of furry muffled. Eyes still shut to unconsciousness she lingered there. Her mind raced wanted to reach color and reality. Sometime passed till she awoke eyes blurred focusing slowly. Brought back from afar the little elf came to rest at the Argent Tourney grounds, there she rested on a bench as an orc warrior watched her from afar. Bandaged oddly the elf turned away feeling uncertain. Before she could make sense of the moment a troll poked his tusks into the situation. After a few words exchanged the troll warrior escorted the elf to the flightmaster to see her off, back home to Silvermoon.
In her apartment the warlock sat on her bed's edge crying softly. Tears dripped from her already red face. Little Roo sat at his mother's side nuzzling her hip while the worg dog Kim curled at her feet alert and vigil. The rest of the night Oneille cried feelings of pain and anger. Elsewhere, sitting in his home base, a king gloated his victory over the Horde. Hinik...a burned image in the mind of one soul who'd rather not see this pollute her mind. Oneille hung her head low as she tipped over and fell into welcomed sleep.

The Infinite Dragonflight posed a great threat to history once again. They were determined to stop the combined Alliance, Horde, and Night Elf stand against the Burning Legion at Hyjal. Leothiel remembered dying on his last visit there and during his very brief time in the afterlife, found out his parents were still alive. The Well of Eternity that sat under the World Tree was not only lethal to him but also transformed him physically, putting a pair of wings on his back.
This time, he knew he would not die. They would be truly saving history. The followers of the Lady and her allies took a stand against the Infinite Dragonflight and the Burning Legion. History was saved. Afterwards, Leothiel and Oneille split away from the group and headed to a secluded beach near the Caverns of Time. The evening temperature was warm and the water was pleasant. They talked about a few things. Little Roo was among them. Additionally, Oneille was not accosted by the fiend Truuk. Leothiel was still on the watch for him. After talking and picnicking, they went for a swim in the warm water under the light of the moon and the stars. This made Leothiel look forward to that big day more than ever. That night, he invited her to spend the night at his apartment in Dalaran. They spent the night in each others' arms.
Leothiel woke up feeling something cold and shaking on top of him: It was Azureus shaking from fear. Thank you Haleh for teaching me this.. he thought. He picked up the azure whelp and took him and scryed his scale. What Leothiel found scared him greatly: A fully-grown dragon engulfed in flame sundering the land. This scared Leothiel as it seemed he was there. His startle stirred Oneille from her sleep. "Wha.. what happened?" she queried. Leo told her about what he found from Azureus. "All I heard was, 'The Earthwarder will rise again.'"

Oneille propped herself up looking at her lion with much concern. She settled back into a sitting position eyes gazing about Leothiel's countenance. There came fear, anxiety, and still he shook a cold sweat forming. Without hesitation the elven lioness rose up running her hands over Leothiel's back. His muscles flexed and flinched at her touch. From the few places she wandered about his flesh she found him damp with a night sweat...the fear, it lingered. The Hyjal excursion left a bittersweet victory. In a place where people won the haunting scenes of almost loosing Leothiel flooded her mind. Shaking off the images, Oneille let her lithe hands caress over his back again idling at his wings feeling their softness. Oneille took her arms wrapping them tenderly about her love. Her rudy red lips gingerly kissed his shoulders then proceeding to find his own pale lips.
"Lion, my love, you speak of the 'him' the father of the black brood, aye?" Oneille knew well who the Earth Warder was. Time spent in the Shadowmoon Valley taught her the Netherwing were the forgotten brood of the brood father himself.
Leothiel sat there on the edge his bed still quaking as though nothing could calm him. Oneille turned his head fel tinged eyes meeting fel tinged eyes. "Winged one you're not facing him alone...I forbid it. These visions you're seeing you must tell someone. They're haunting you, it pains me to see you like this." The young lovers held each other tightly.
"Something's happening...something is going to happen," Leothiel sighed as Azureous shivered in his lap.
Reaching a hand down Oneille patted the little creature gently as she took her own love's hand, "Never forget the Light has kept us safe and will keep doing so. Have faith as I do in this. My winged lion, my white lion, my battlemage...if I keep affecting you with names we'd be here all morning. Let us rest for now worry less another time."
Grinning wickedly the warlock pulled Leothiel back into his bed. Leothiel hesitated but his own wry grin fell over his mouth. The seductive fel mage brought her red lips to his whispering, "This fire you keep building between us my lord is turning into an inferno...are you certain...you can...take the heat?"
He tried to answer but Oneille growled pressing her lips to his kissing sensually. Hands combed through his golden mane letting both take the moment as their own. After a brief moment Oneille stopped resting herself at Leothiel's side eyes drooping into sleep. Both lovers slept soundlessly the rest of the night till morning crept through.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oneille finished her letter to Leothiel. He left early that morning for duties abroad. Today she thought there should be some shopping in Dalaran and she was right. There was much to buy, much to sell, and much to plot.
The rest of the morning the consort to Frosthawk kept herself preoccupied until it was time to head to the tourney grounds for more Crusade needs.

Leothiel woke up with something cold softly nudging him. Azureus was still excited about something with as much energy as the day before. It is best I see what is making you so excited he thought. He found out from scrying the scale that Azureus was reflecting the excitement and ancticipation of a life-changing event. Even though Azureus answered only to the mage, even the dragon whelp has taken a liking to Oneille. He also remembered Haleh's words that referenced Azureus as a familiar and the two of them sharing the same mind. Soon, Leothiel's thoughts went to the horrifying vision that Azureus had twice: A dragon devoured in flames destroying the world. The first person he thought to ask first was Haleh.
Later that morning, Leothiel went to Winterspring with Azureus in tow. This time around, the dragonspawn guards approached him ready to attack. Soon, a drake swooped down and transformed into her quel'dorei visage: It was Haleh. She spoke to him without speaking: You are no longer welcome here, mageblood elf nor is your companion welcome as long as he is bound to you. The blue brood is stopped under my command for you to listen and leave. He left as quickly as possible from Mazthoril wondering why the azure dragonflight has turned against him. He knew of another place for answers: Wyrmrest Temple. He had questions and Azureus had some secrets.
