Chris's parents were attacked by the scourge. He could do nothing but hide there and watch, frozen with fear and pain.nSoon afterwards when the scourge left he woke to find his parents gone, he didn't see his parents or the scourge.nHe wandered around until he found himself in Silvermoon City. He went to the paladin's quarters to seek some help or advice. He walked into a conversation being held by Damian, a troll hunter, and Jeriden, a Blood Elf paladin. Chris asked simply if either of them were paladins. The troll replied no but the blood elf replied yes, he said he was Lord Dawnbringer then asked what nhe could do for the young elfling. He asked for help in finding his parents but Lord Dawnbringer replied he must train before he could help because he was not strong enough to even come close to fighting off the monsters in Northrend. That is when Chris started training as a paladin, when Lord Dawnbringer saw he was serious he offered him acceptance into the Hand of the Phoenix.nA few months later when Lord Dawnbringer left, Damian sought refuge in a few guilds but didn't find one he cared about until he joined the Nyx, he offered Chris help into joining him, Chris accepted hoping to find another paladin to help with his training.nWhen both were joined Chris and Damian both went back to their training, Chris evermore harder from receiving descriptions of the beast from Northrend from Damian, hoping to venture to Northrend and possible find his parents before it was to late, if it wasn't already.nnnnChristopher
