Magicborn
After Leothiel left to check on his homestead before heading to Northrend to fend off Alliance, his mind began to wander. His thoughts straddled between battle and magic. He had realized the power of the planes over which he had command. He also knew about elementals and could summon one from the plane of water even though it was unstable. First, he inspected the homestead. The work was behind because of the heavier than usual spring rains. The day was sunny and warm so more progress would be made. His next destination was Dalaran and their libraries.nnAt the libraries, he looked for books on magics and their elements but nothing was in the advanced levels from what he had seen. He asked one of the reference librarians about creatures born of magic. "That is forbidden knowledge. Many have died summoning and controlling magicborn creatures that are beyond elementals." Leothiel thanked the librarian and thought of Silvermoon's libraries.

Re: Magicborn
The day was unusually warm. Leothiel walked into the Silvermoon library quietly with some of the librarians and archivists greeting him and asking him about Oneille, who was on leave. "She's looking forward to the birth of the child." He tried unsuccessfully to redirect the conversation to what he had thought to the point of forgetfulness. Finally, he spoke up saying "Who in here can talk about summoning creatures from the arcane realm?" The room went quiet then one of the librarians stayed behind. The reading was tedious. It kept going back to where the source of the Arcane: Elune. He thought Who knows more secrets of Elune than anyone outside of the priesthood? He knew it was time for a visit to his only living highborne relative: Lorekeeper Mykos in the Dire Maul library.

Re: Magicborn
In Dire Maul, Lorekeeper Mykos could feel a strong arcane pulse walking into the library. "I see my kin has finally arrived. I can sense you." Leothiel chuckled and greeted her. "Bal'a dash, my great aunt." They caught up on what has been going on. The library was more quiet than ever because lorekeepers were heading to Darnassus. Leothiel gave Mykos an update what had been happening in the Frosthawk line and the future arrival of an elfling. Soon, it was down to business.nn"Arcane creatures that can be used as mounts." Leothiel described the phoenix and even brought the hatchling Al'ar with him. "My nephew, there is one highborne who has the knowledge on how to summon arcane beings. He was among those who went to Darnassus. He is carrying a book of importance to you that also belongs in this library."nnLeothiel had a look of concern on his face. "Highborne are barely welcome in Darnassus, High Elves even less so, and Sin'dorei will be killed because of affiliation with the Horde." Mykos looked unfazed. "Perhaps you should be reading about Kal'dorei culture and how to disguise yourself as one. Return to me when you have done so." Leothiel read the book on disguises and took copious notes before leaving. Mykos penned a letter and sent it off with an owl.
