Oneille took the wedding dress from the sealed chest and admired the work that went into it. Svalina managed to put great care into the garment leaving it to Oneille to wear at her weekend wedding. It was early morning in the Brightgrove home, little Roo slept soundlessly in his room while mother put her wedding gown away. Oneille supressed a groan as she felt her back ache. The elfmaiden slid down her robe exposing her shoulder where a noticable bruise lay.

"Ung...that must have been from yesterday fighting in the spider-fiends pit," the pressure subsided as Oneille lifted her robe back up. A few hours earlier she rested with Leothiel and now she awoke to another empty bed.

Safety, comfort, and love luxuries that from before meant nothing. The darkest reaches of Oneille's past stay hidden even now. Leothiel is not without his own perils to face but when Oneille relives the history she went through images of cruelty followed.

Oneille had one dream not too long ago. In this dream she was captured by orcs, who intended to sell her off into slavery as they gathered her up there came a roar in the distance. To everyone's suprise the creature creating the ruckus was a white lion, a winged one no less! He roared and pounced. The orcs were left scrambling and the elfmaiden sat there admiring the lion his gaze as alluring as he was. She reached out for him and as she did she awoke. Seemed this was a sign, a good sign as well.

Leothiel and Oneille woke up in each others' arms. He found a message for him on the nightstand:

"You are needed in Quel'danas with us after breakfast"

The couple left to have breakfast with his parents and his sister. Thaelen was going through the archives again. Anaria had something on her mind: The corrupted brother Remtheras Frosthawk. "Remtheras was completely transformed before you confronted him. I sensed that corruption in him when we visited his grave last month." Anaria paused and started to speak quietly to complete her idea. "His grave and spirit need to be cleansed and he needs to confront the one who killed him." These words brought a sense of dread to Leothiel.

After the breakfast, Oneille and Thaelen went their separate ways. Leothiel went with Anaria and Vira to Quel'danas. "Bal'a dash. I received your message," said Thieldren who arrived in Quel'danas earlier in the morning. The small group of four made their way to the graveyard outside of the Sunwell Plateau. When they arrived at the grave site, Anaria handed Leothiel the bottle of holy water. Behind the group, two draenei vindicators showed up. Leothiel poured the water on Remtheras' grave, then Islanna's grave. Remtheras' cold spirit voice spoke "Who called me?"

Leothiel replied, "I call upon you, Remtheras Frosthawk. Yes, the one who killed you confronts you."

The spirit visage of a felblood elf appeared and looked Leothiel up and down and started to laugh. "Have you come to torment me in death? Be glad I do not emit pure arcane energy or you will be dead. I will siphon the power from you." With that said, there felt a very strong fel-tainted energy that exuded fear.

Vira ran for the bushes and one of the vindicators went after her. Azureus also fled in fear. Leothiel said "We are here to cleanse the taint that binds your spirit to the demons!" Islanna's spirit also joined in. Leothiel went through the rest of the bottle of holy water then Anaria started chanting. Remtheras' spirit turned towards Anaria and spoke up "This is me. I am a proud son of the felblood. I have no mother." Anaria was unfazed. Remtheras started to become more corporeal and started to unleash a stream of fel magic towards Leothiel. Leothiel felt himself being weakened as the stream turned into a torrent that was arcane. The other vindicator started chanting. Remtheras was now weakening. After some time, there was a change. Remtheras' fel wings and horns fell off of his body. His skin color turned to what it was in life. "Thank you, brother. You have freed me in death." With those words, he faded away. Leothiel collapsed on the ground in a heap. "I... am still... alive" were the only words he could quietly muster.

The vindicator that went with Vira arrived back with her. Anaria was in tears to see her son collapsed but was happy that he was still alive. She poured out her healing spells while the vindicators were trying to cleanse him of the magics that had weakened him. Azureus slowly flew back but still shook from fear. Vira picked him up like he was her child trying to comfort him. It took Leothiel a few minutes to recover. Before they left the grave site, Islanna's spirit said "I know why you are here." Then she looked at Leothiel and told him "You are welcome to use my name for your daughter" then she disappeared.

It is finished, Leothiel thought, father's house is one, albeit for a short time.

Roo returned to the very home he was born into, the Sholazar Basin. After being separated from his tribe for almost a year he came to find shelter in the home of Oneille Brightgrove. Oneille gave the gorloc child a home, a hearth, and a family...a family that would have grown from the mere three to many more. As mother watched her son walk with Leothiel there came a sudden pang to her heart, a sense of regret and dread. There went her son the only child she known. Oneille's standings with the Oracles was less than perfect. She was unable to give him over, only Leothiel was able bodied for the task.

Before the child left her arms, mother gave her son a kiss and a tight hug. Why had it come to this? He was hers! No one could care for him the way she did...but why was it like this? Perfect timing to boot. Her own son would not be at the wedding. Now, the attention turned to Leothiel and the future with him.

=========================

Both lovers sought the comfort of the beach that evening in Eversong. They spoke of the future, themselves, and there was talk of the very cleasning of Leothiel's siblings, purged of the demon taint. At last they two were at peace in the afterlife. Leothiel and his consort spent the rest of the evening plotting the honeymoon for themselves. Among the discussions there came the talk of children...to be a mother again was the greatest dream Oneille possesed.

*Wednesday night in Sholazar*

Leothiel and Oneille with Roo in tow flew into the jungle in the Basin. It was the moment that Oneille dreaded and gave Leothiel some pangs of regeret: Returning Roo to his family. Leothiel had come to accept being a father to Roo but his acceptance had come very late. He also had made a package for the little oracle and intended to present it on the wedding night. Leothiel pushed those feelings aside when they had landed outside of the Oracle village in Rainspeaker Canopy. Outside of the village, Leothiel presented Roo the package. "This is knowledge that goes beyond what you have been taught. Your elders will like it too when they are taught." Oneille kissed Roo. Leothiel walked slowly with Roo to the outside guards. Soon, there were two oracles that started hopping rapidly. His parents, Leothiel thought, no longer fractured by war. Leothiel walked slowly back to Oneille. Returning Roo to his homeland inspired Leothiel to ask Oneille "Shall we return to our Homeland?" She said "Yes, love, we shall." They eventually made their way to their favorite beach in Eversong and talked. Their conversation went from the day's events to the future before they retired separately.

*Silvermoon*

Thaelen and Anaria talked over dinner. Thaelen could only find records of him and his house from before the third war. Thaelen said "We have been presumed dead since we were in Dalaran before we fled from there." Thaelen grew quiet and whispered into Anaria's ear "I cannot register where we are living currently to the archives. If I do, I don't think we will be welcome here or in Stormwind again. We will need to talk about this when there are no prying ears." The couple not only felt their spirits fracture even more, but they saw it happen to each other.

"How many dancers can you book?" queried a death knight.

The barkeeper replied "As many as you can afford, Mr. Frosthawk. There women out there who need work and will be glad for a slight infusion of gold."

The death knight, Thieldren said "Okay. Here are the restrictions: No gnomes, dwarves, undead, or tauren; and all dancers must be female. How about closing the bar since I booked this place for my brother?"

"The bar will be clear 15 minutes prior to the start per our arrangements and you must be here since you're planning this."

"Thank you barkeep. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow night and the look on my brother's face." The barkeep pulled out two glasses and filled them with beer. "These two glasses are on the house tonight." Thieldren took one of the glasses and raised it. The barkeep raised his glass and said "To your brother and his life of bliss." Thieldren replied "To my brother Leothiel" and the two drank.

Thieldren arrived at the World's End Tavern 20 minutes prior to the start of the bachelor party for his brother. He had already seen some of the guests had arrived. The righteous and upright Thomasbecket there. Thieldren lauged while asking the priest "Are you ready to unleash your wild side?" Soon, the dancers from the Exodar Gentlemen's Club arrived, led by Dressna. Even some freelance blood elf dancers showed up. The event started out rather subdued.

Image

As the alcohol flowed more freely, so did the flesh.

Image

After time on the floor, Thieldren stepped up to the stage and made an announcement: The next dance will be for the guest of honor on stage. At first, Leothiel didn't know what to think especially after having a somewhat steady stream of alcohol.

Image

After the buzz wore off some, he thought "What the hey? I'll just enjoy it!"

Image

Eventually, even more sin'dorei women showed up and one high level draenei stumbled on to what she saw and joined in the festivities.

Image

The night was a success. Thieldren flew back to Howling Fjord with unclad blood elves and draenei floating through his mind. They even danced through his dreams. He woke up the next morning with an idea: A Horde Gentlemen's Club.

*Friday morning, Dalaran*

Leothiel woke up with a slight headache and the thoughts of unclad women dancing through his mind. Where is a cure for a hangover when you need one?. Some breakfast cleared up his headache even though he could still feel the effects of alcohol from the night before. Leothiel finished up packing and preparing to have his belongings moved to Silvermoon. He also found a small metal box his father gave him. Inside it were a note and a key.

"My Dear Son Leothiel,

The wedding night is a trilogy. Act one is the ceremony. Act two is the reception. Act three is the longest. I think you guessed right that it takes place in the bedchamber. This trunk has been passed down to the first member of the family who married. Inside, you will find a written record of the previous owners and whom they married. Fill this trunk to make act three unforgettable and when it is full, you are to return the key to me before dinner on Friday night and take the trunk to Oneille's place. Remember that being a lover has little to do with performing in bed: It's about sharing your bodies and experiencing each other to the fullest for life.

Your Father,

Thaelen"

The fire inside Leothiel turned hotter with that note. His mind snapped from the unclad women of the night before to Oneille, whom he would marry the following night. What could I do to make act three unforgettable? he wondered. Leothiel dressed and went on a shopping trip. He went for the best bottle of wine. He then went around the herbalist shops looking for incense and body oils. He did not want the incense and smells from oils colliding. One of the clerks pulled out what she said was the "strongest aphrodisiac for the body." Leothiel replied "Second most powerful aphrodisiac?"

"Second?" replied the clerk.

"Yes. Second. Power is the the strongest aphrodisiac. Could I take a sniff of that oil?"

The clerk dabbed a sample on a small stick, careful not to touch it. Leothiel took a smell of it. It was odorless but it seemed to ignite more of the fire in him. The clerk commented that it contains pheromones. Leothiel said "I'll take two." Back at his apartment, Leothiel put the bottle of wine, incense, burner, and bottles of body oil in the heirloom trunk and locked it. That night, he would head to Silvermoon for dinner with his family, Oneille, and the Dawnbringers. He would also return the key of what her referred to as the "First Night Trunk" to his father. The next day, his father and brother would come to gather what's left of his possessions in Dalaran and send them to Silvermoon.

My usual customer stopped in to see me during his passing through Exodar for his purchase of drinks for his tavern in Shattrath.

Throwing a handsome bag of gold on my glasstop desk ready to be tallied from last night, I hear a grumble behind me..

"Dressna darling!! you must gather a few of your girls for an event I will be hosting tomorrow night! A bachelor party will be held at 8 of night and i need your best girls...and you of course!"

I smirk saying "So be it, I will shut down the club for a few hours to celebrate this mans coming union!" I sipped my wine and set down the glass on the table, prancing back to my desk to wipe the appointment book of tomorrows nightly events..

*8 of the following evening*

Everyone was there when I walked in with a few girls, being the tavern was not large i took my best girl and even managed to bribe Tiffgirl into a few lovely outfits for the evening..

The man of the hour was Leothiel and he got most of my attention for the evening though i managed to work around the room and uh..share my wares....

The night event proved to be profitable in my eyes. I wished Leothiel a wonderful evening and gave him my blessing for his life to come.
With my leave back to the Exxxodar, i say
" If any officers would like to visit my club while ravaging my city, you are most welcome!" and went off into the night..

Jeriden and Asarelah arrived by white carriage to the festivities. Rather than being dressed in his glittering, gleaming plate mail, Jeriden was dressed simply in a fine, black, well-tailored, Tuxuedo.nnn"Are you going to tell them, my Lord Husband?" Asarelah asked. She had seen the fresh lines of worry on Jeriden's features over the last months, but up to now he had always kept them somewhat hidden.nn"I will have no choice, my love," he replied.nnThe knight stepped out of the carriage first, taking his wife by her hand and walking with her to the party. He greeted his (very) soon to be son in law and daughter, and enjoyed the dinner fairly quietly, watching the party with a wide smile. While his intent had been to deliver the news and depart, such wasn't to be. He instead stayed for the wedding.nnnHours later, after dancing with Oneille, the mostly-silver haired knight gave them their gifts and a small sack of coin to put towards a new house, and drew in a breath. With a loving, supportive gaze from Asarelah, and a squeeze from her hand, he nodded and tapped his glass.nnAfter watching the bride and groom kiss, as was tradition, he began.nn"My friends, I have an announcement. One that I hope does not overshadow the addition of Lord Frosthawk to our family, but one that wil be issued just the same.nnFor more than a thousand years I have been active in various roles protecting Silvermoon's interests and bringing light to where there is dakness. Here, in the closing months and years of my own life, I have done something I never thought would be possible as a paladin. Survived to retirement age."nnHe let the light sympathy chuckles die down before continuing further.nn"I have transferred command of the Hand to Nakoichi, and they have reduced significantly in size. I myself will be looking forward to simply... being that man who lives in the house on the hill. The torch is no longer mine to hold, and I pass it off to the next group. It is my time, as a human general once said, to simply.... fade away.nnLeothiel, Oneille - may the Light ever guide your way and keep you both safe - and remember that in the end, Love Springs Eternal. Nurture it with your every moment, and it will be strong for eons. I love you both, and I toast your marriage."nnQuietly, and with his head held high even with tears brewing in the corner of his sapphire orbs, the knight made his way into the background, and sought to do exactly what he set out to: to enjoy the rest of his life not as a combatant and commander, but simply.... as a man.

At the beginning of the dinner party, Leothiel gave the trunk key to his father. Thaelen whispered to him "Don't worry. You will have this back after the ceremony" That night, the Frosthawks and the Dawnbringers enjoyed dinner together. Thaelen liked seeing his house back in one piece again as his living children, born and unborn, were there. Jeriden and Asarelah Dawnbringer showed up. The celebration of the evening as well as the wedding to follow the next night pushed away any thoughts of Thaelen's house being fractured once again: It was a time to celebrate. After the dinner, Thaelen and Thieldren made final arrangements for Leothiel take them to Dalaran to grab what is left of his possessions and move them to Silvermoon. After the party, Anaria pulled Leothiel and Oneille to the side to talk with them privately. She gave them each a censer and incense to burn.nnShe started to explain. "The dream you have the night before your wedding is one of the most important dreams of your life. This is dream incense. Start burning it before you go to bed tonight." The couple took their respective censers and incense.nnLeothiel returned to his apartment in Dalaran late that night. Azureus was very happy all day and it was visible he'd be happy all day the next day. Leothiel smiled and said "Even one in the dragonflights is looking forward to my upcoming union" then threw a treat to Azureus and gave the dragon whelp a pat on the head. "I'm looking forward to it too, little guy." Azureus gave a nudge to Leothiel and left the room. Leothiel put the censer on a table next to his bed, undressed completely then looked himself in the mirror from the front and flexed. He turned to the side, stretched his wings, and flexed again. Tomorrow night Oneille, he quietly said, this body will be yours to the fullest. He then lit up the incense and went to bed.nnLeothiel could feel the effect of the incense. It made him very drowsy at first then he knew he was in a dream. He was at a pond as a white lion. When he looked at his own reflection, he saw that the white lion's visage had a pair of wings. Nearby, he saw a red lioness. She slowly walked over to him and nuzzled him. Oneille, he thought. Afterwards, he saw some cubs walk up to him. They also had wings. After the pride had gathered, Leothiel roared loudly. His pride followed. He nuzzled and licked the red lioness. There were some who tried to go near the pride, but he scared them off. Soon, he found himself facing a blue dragon. The dragon made very clear that he was not going to die but be bestowed a great honor. The dragon breathed heavy on Leothiel. He felt pain jutting throughput his body. The red lioness tried to go near him but watched in horror. After the pain subsided, he crawled to the pond and noticed something: Runes had appeared etched into his hide. Afterwards, he saw some more lions coming, but not with the intention of harming his pride. They morphed into Thaelen and his family. Leothiel and his pride then morphed into their elfin forms.nnLeothiel woke up very drowsy but refreshed state. He wrote down the dream in detail. He returned to the mirror and looked at his naked body from head to toe and flexed. This body will be yours tonight, my lioness. He then dressed as he was expecting his father and Thieldren to move the rest of his possessions to Silvermoon. Thaelen and Thieldren knocked on the door. The three of them had breakfast at the Legedermain Lounge. After breakfast, they returned to Leothiel's apartment. "I have one more thing to do before I vacate this place permanently," Leothiel began. He then pulled out an envelope, opened it and opened its contents. Thieldren recognized this as the lease. "Brother, my rent is paid through the month of July and I would like for you to have this apartment for the remainder of the lease. This is my gift and favor to you." Thieldren was struck speechless. Soon, he started to speak "Are you saying.. I can live in Dalaran through the end of July?" Leothiel nodded. They went to the landlord's office and signed the lease to Thieldren starting the next day.nnThaelen and Thieldren hauled Leothiel's belongings to Silvermoon so the bride and groom would not see each other until the ceremony. All that was left were his full tuxedo set and one of his favorite swords as well as the "First night trunk."
