Re: Primetime will progress
Note for consideration, one of the dps needs to be able to switch into a capable heals spec for some of the fights. Sindragosa and LK in particular as the raid can be wiped if a healer is tombed during Sindra phase 3 and imprisoned in Frostmourne during LK phase 3 and you only have 1 other healer. LK on the whole often needs 3 healers due to the amount of dmg being put out.

I'd say we have Valithria on farm, we almost always get her down, though not always on the first try.

For clarification then, anyone who doesn't make the list will be out of the PT raids, at least until the LK is downed?

Re: Primetime will progress
I think this makes sense so we can, as a guild, claim to have downed Arthas. That makes us look good and resolves any internal issue a raid has regarding the big "can we or can't we?" question. I'm also happy for Subaba to be an alternate and will have no problems making it on Tuesdays, though later in the week will be spotty. nnFor myself, focused more on Rokaar these days than on Subaba, keeping Baba out of an ICC saved instance while I'm on the bench is no issue, but I can't speak for the other folks in the wings.nnThe problem with a concerted effort such as this is that folks on the sidelines can feel a bit left out, and the net is that for the next X number of weeks, no one but the listed folks (and whoever raids late night) are going to be getting ICC drops or a heavy influx of emblems unless they're lucky enough to PUG. nnI think we need to formalize a secondary run on at least the first few bosses on ICC. Based on signups last time, we could have easily fielded 10 more, and I have no issue filling in a few spots with PUG's and letting them have an assured spot on followup nights if they are available. We need separate signups--well, ANY signup at this point since the main group is now set sans signup.nnI want to be able to throw my hat in the ring to lead such a raid, but I don't have much time for learning the fights from each role's angle in order to properly teach it. When you see me online is generally all the time I have for WoW at all. But I will gladly support such an effort (particularly if it starts an hour earlier, or even half an hour).

Re: Primetime will progress
nnThe issue is tanks, but if we can get 8 more people, consider me in - even if we just clear the trash and the lower spire. That's not so hard anymore for anyone who's done ICC a few times. I've been thinking about posting on the official WoW forums looking to latch onto regular 10-man runs that jibe with my availability but I sort of dread the inevitable flaming by 12-year olds if my gear score isn't 25,000.Subaba wrote:I think this makes sense so we can, as a guild, claim to have downed Arthas. I know this isn't an alternative for everybody who is interested, but often the late raid could use a few more.

Blood wing got finished just last night, and we almost had Sindragosa.nUntil a certain special someone decided to run with his iceblock directly into the tanks...nnEven with that I was incredibly happy, and Sindragosa's ass will be ours tonight.

nnn*coughs*nnNow Grethem, don't poke them too much as I recall a certain dps who got a little too much of the Blood Princes attention right off the bat.Grethem wrote:Until a certain special someone decided to run with his iceblock directly into the tanks...nnEven with that I was incredibly happy, and Sindragosa's ass will be ours tonight.
nnThe progression was excellent and I am very proud of everyone's performance.
