I saw the other day that Blizzard is going to do something to nerf the "save up completed quests" trick.

nnOh, I’m not competing to see who can get to level 85 the fastest. nnI’m competing to see who can get to Nyx Exalted the fastest.nnEvery activity that awards guild reputation also awards guild XP. The faster we boost our Nyx reputation, the faster Nyx gains levels and earns guild perks, like free gold in the guild bank, faster XP and tradeskill levelling for all members, instant in-guild mail, wipe recovery spells, bind-to-account cloaks and helms and more.nnSo let’s get it on, people. If you can beat me to Nyx Exalted, you are an awesome person for making Nyx awesomer, and as far as I’m concerned you deserve a badge of awesome from Growth and Nourishment.

Unfortunately, college finals are that week.nnOn Dec. 6th, I will be waiting in line for Cata to be released at midnight, with college textbooks on hand to study for my finals.nnAnd I will buy my Collector's Edition box and sit it on my desk while I study for my finals.nnAnd I will cry and moan as I keep myself from even INSTALLING the game until I finish that damn math final.nnThen, after I finish that damn math final, I shall come home, install, and play.... until Sunday where I have to study for more finals.nnYeah, college couldn't be more obtrusive right now.

Jinx gear has arrived so I'm all ready to shock people with my "I fight like a girl" t-shirt and my horde hoodie.

Wow, I am so glad I pre-ordered the collector's edition from Best Buy. I'll get it...sometime next week. nnShould I just pay for the digital download and keep the collector's edition as a true collector's item?

nnThey "accidentally" forgot to turn on XP right away, so many people ended up wasting their daily turn ins before noticing.nn

nnI went to a midnight release at Best Buy. It was fun. The one thing that made me laugh though was this one guy. He came to buy the movie Inception on Blu-Ray, 2 copies, just that, nothing Cataclysm related. He waited in line with the rest of the Cataclysm players for the registers to open and everything, didn't even take a free poster. It was very odd, the look on the cashier's face was priceless.nnNote: this wasn't a 24/7 Best Buy either (do those even exist?)

I have a few quests in my log to turn in tonight in Northrend. From there I'll be heading to Orgrimmar for my flying license and will be off to Hyjal. If I get overrun with Alliance I will switch to Jemmali and take care of some housekeeping with her and I will take her to Vashj'ir. Depending on how things go, I will also take some time to discover the new instances so I can level there as well if I get bored with questing.

I take it that the title is a reference to how Cataclysm's release is also Pearl Harbor's anniversary?
