Where the hell did Kromal go?

I just wanted to let all know that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. Everything is going very well.
I know most of you do not know me because after the merger of Nyx and the Twlight Umbrage I haven't really logged in much.
I wanted to inform everyone that I will not be returning to WOW. It was a tough decision because I have good friends in the Old Umbrage, but I gotta be moving on. Also Nyx has alot of good quality people.
My reasons for leaving:
1. I am burned out on WOW
2. The general player base and community are the pits.
3. 12-17 year old asshats
4. the me me me attitude
5. all the warlock hatred

My decision had nothing to do with the merger, FYI. It went very well and from what I can tell its still smooth sailing.

I have moved on to LOTRO at the moment. I feel a more sense of community out of this playerbase and there seem to be alot less idiots playing this game.
I dearly miss Aitana, Gohjira, Mythrael, Minsc, and Zindia. These honorable people are some of the best I have ever experienced online in my 25+ years going back to MUDs.
So I guess I can be removed from the guild and also this website.

Kromal, I enjoyed getting to know you and playing with you. If you ever come back to WoW, I'll probably still be here I miss you, but I know that one of the constants of life is change :/ Best wishes to you in LOTRO! Watch out for Sauron and his minions. I hear they're real killers

Kromal, unless there was a change I am unaware of, your general access to this website will not be rescinded, although officer access could be another matter. Nyx has long held that those who leave on good terms are as family moving out into the world...and should have a home to return to...should they ever so chose. Several have moved to other WoW realms or other games and still maintained a presence here...especially role-players who, in a sense, cease to exist otherwise. Some have returned. Some have not...so far.

I hope you would chose to "exist" here, if not in the game, and thus not have to miss those you have come to call friends and family. The choice is yours, the welcome is ours.

Thank you, Kromal, for letting us know what's up. Take it easy on the orcs. Sure, they seem bad, they just haven't met Thrall yet. Once that happens, I'm sure you'll be having a pint with 'em in no time.

Heck, Aragorn recruited the Forsaken... I also note that those elves aren't blue. Now that I think on it, we recruited Aragorn. I digress...

I concur with everyone else in saying that once in Nyx, you're always a part of us. A fair number of us are always happy to see old friends check in and say hi.
