Kim yawned as his whole body of ebon fur shook from trying to break from slumber. He teetered near the windowsill watching the sleeping blue mass that was Azureous. The little whelping seemed in a dead sleep. Kim licked the little dragonkin's cheek. He barely stirred. Soon, footsteps came down from the hallway those belonging to Oneille. Her favorite duo were found in the living room, quite the sight. Oneille walked over to the window bringing herself down to eye level with little Azureous. nn"Welcome back little one, " she kissed his tender snout then stood. Oneille's day would be more productive if she left for work. nnWatching the worg tilt his head, the warlock maiden began to leave and dress for work. Oneille yawned slightly as she arched her back feeling a pang come from her back. It felt sore. Upon further retelling the thoughts went back to the night before with Leothiel. She giggled.nn"He's my lion for obvious reasons." smirking Oneille made way to her closet to dress. nnBy the time Oneille dressed, ate breakfast, and headed out to the library she looked over at the still sleeping whelp and the now slumbering worg.nn"Sleep well you two." with that she headed out for work.

Kim yawned, his large jowl open wide as his razor sharp teeth bared. It was early afternoon and time for his mistress to return home from a long day of work in the archives. As if on cue, the door to the apartment swung open with a familiar voice calling, "Kim!" A rush of black fur later and the once little worg galloped into the living room. nn"Kim!" Oneille giggled as the ebony furred canine lapped at her face. "Honestly, you still act like a puppy."nnKim whined then pushed away leaving Oneille wiping her face of worg spittle. Oneille sat her satchel and paperwork down on the loveseat, only to have Kim jump up next to her. Both pet and owner settled against each other as Oneille read through a book she discovered on elven culture (albeit of Kal'dorei culture).nn"Hmph, these Night Elves during the ancient times were peculiar," Oneille mused as her right hand idley stroked the black fur of Kim, who by now had begun to sleep in her lap.nnOneille yawned slightly as she pushed away the large mass of canine, "All right you time for a nap." There she rested as her mind drifted to dreams and one in particular of a white lion.

*Saturday morning, one week after the wedding*nnLeothiel woke up right before the crack of dawn, dressed, went to the study, pulled out his journal and started writing.nnIt has been one week since Oneille and I have wed.nnHe looked at his right hand where his wedding band and family signet were.nnAlthough my love for her increases by the day, my right hand grows ever heavier. The wedding band reminds me that my love for her lasts forever. My family signet ring reminds me of who I am and whom I represent. No assault by Kingship or Alliance will keep me from Oneille. My service to the Lady Nyx, Homeland, or Horde, will not remove her from my heart. No other woman will tear me from her even as I rest in her arms. One week ago, I pledged myself to Oneille for life and will keep that pledge.nnHe kept his journal open on the desk for Oneille to see the entry. He went back to the bedchamber where she was still sleeping, kissed her and left.nnHe went to a tatoo artist. "Sunhawk symbol on my upper right arm, and my family crest on my left arm." Leothiel made a wax seal with his signet ring to show what the crest looks like.

She yawned loudly her arms reaching skyward. It was Saturday morning and the elven warlock finally awoke. Her legs swung over the edge of the bed as sleep faded and the need to wake up commenced. Oneille Frosthawk suddenly found herself walking to the office space where Leothiel had "set up shop" sort to speak. There among the many boxes of paperwork and his own belongings there was his desk, but what caught the elf's attention was the rugged journal that her love wrote in. What she found made her smile. nn"His words are, they are most kind in what he sees of us now and forever," Oneille sat down at her beloved's desk and skimmed the page only to find there was nothing else to read.nnStretching out the female warlock began to head back to her bedroom and prepare for the day.nn*saturday evening, Silvermoon*nnAfter an exhausting journey into Ulduar, Oneille and her lord Frosthawk, as well as their group, decided it best to retreat and try another plan of assault. Aching and bruised, Oneille reached the mage portal for the homeland. A weary traveler and mount finally arrived at the apartment suite of the Frosthawks. Leothiel was the first to arrive while he lady was still traveling the streets to her destination. At last she made way to home. Unlocking the heavy doors Oneille found the apartment quiet and almost dark, say for the bedroom. She figured what a certain mage was wanting...nnAs if on cue there was Leothiel resting in bed shirtless and writing down diction for his "war thesis". Oneille grinned wickedly as she ventured over, grabbing his parchment and placing it aside to the bestand, "I did not come home to admire the handiwork of my Nightwarder husband. I believe I came here to rest...among other things." nnHer hands ran the length of his muscled arms till she noticed the new markings on either side, "Oh! What are these...wait...I know these symbols." nnHer lithe hands traced and formed the tattoos on either arm. The first side, the right side there was the Sunhawk. The left side produced the Frosthawk, "You made well on your threat didn't you my love?" nn"Yes, either arm has the tattoo representing both our people and our family," Leothiel smiled as his lioness leaned in lips close to his.nn"And now that you've marked your flesh for me...where else might I find markings?" Oneille smirked as evilly as she ever had. nnBefore Leothiel could retort, Oneille delve for his lips kissing sensually. Leothiel's hands found her waist, and before the kiss could resume, Oneille broke away chuckling as she blew out the candle. The room went dark and all that was heard was two lovers settling in.

Both bodies lay close together in the dark, dead world of sleep. There seems to be a place in the world no one can touch, a place that with the right amount of void and emptiness becomes a shelter. This is slumber. Leothiel Frosthawk stirred each few moments his weary mind plagued by so much. The mage tossed and turned his red maned lioness watching from her own side a deep concern spreading about her face. nnOneille Frosthawk sat up in bed a sickly visage working it's way into her system. In Leothiel's pain she felt sick, stressed, and nauseated. Several hours earlier Oneille grew sick to her stomach stressed by the current situations her tribe faced. She lost focus on the interview that evening, her body demanding attention to it's ailment. Oneille braced herself away from Leothiel so has not to bother him, she made her way over the bedside and took to the bath chamber. nnOneille sat on the floor her body feeling uneasy, queasy, and ill. She felt the room close in on her. Before she could pass another thought she felt the bile at her throat, from there the rest of the night came to a blank.nn*later that night* nnLeothiel wrestled no more with his dreams. The plague of frustration ceased once his arms reached to an empty bed, he awoke to setting in. There came a groan from the bath chamber his senses picked up on the distress of his lioness. Oneille lay on her side, body flushed. From the scene Leothiel could only run a hand over her cheek caressing her sweetly. Fel green eyes slowly gazed up at Leothiel, "Leothiel...I...I..." She brought her hands to her face hiding herself from him.

*Monday*nLeothiel did what he could to talk with as few followers of the Lady Nyx as possible. His mishandling of an assault had cost his order some members. All he could think of was finding a way to redeem himself in the aftermath of the mess. During the day, the officers read off the complaints. He had more than enough. He took his War Thesis draft and tossed it in the fire. The concern grated on him to the point where he did not want to talk with anyone. He quietly returned home for a soak in cold water in the tub.nnAfter that, he dressed and went to see members promoted. This was the highlight of his day. Afterwards, Aitana and Asarelah had more discussion on redemption from those mistakes the night before. This made him want to go for another cold bath. Soon, there was a call from the Plaguelands. Op and Ulua had two veteran Alliance members standing vigil over their body. A good portion of the tribe responded. A kaldorei hunter known only by the nickname "Sniperscope" backed up by a priest with the alias of "Temple." Oneille recognized Sniperscope as the one who opened the salvo on the honeymoon the previous week. Leothiel left for Silvermoon after Nyx had secured Chillwind Point. When he arrived, he went to the study and wrote out the new priorities for the Ward of War then went for another cold soak in the tub before going to bed.nnThe events from Sunday night cut into his sleep. When he was able to sleep, he felt Oneille leave his arms then heard an unholy groan. He saw Oneille, held her up and looked her in her green eyes. She started speaking "Leothiel, I, I, I.." he held her and embraced her wondering what she was going to say.

Oneille lied in Leothiel's arms her eyes finally returning to watch him. His warm touch caused her to take in a heavy sigh, "Leothiel, I feel sickly...my whole being feels like lead, it aches." Her weak arms clasped about his neck, she found herself lifted in his embrace being brought back into the bedchamber. The rest of the night Oneille rested in Leothiel's arms her hands grasping his waist tightly. She felt safe here, her body lessened in pain. By the first rays of the morning sun, Oneille's color returned and the aches from the previous night were non-exsistent. nnLeothiel, by his own means, left early in the morning seeking his duties and the war thesis he kept planning. Oneille slept longer into the day, by noon she awoke. Drowsy, but awake, Oneille walked from the bedchamber to the kitchen where she found her favorite kettle and began making tea for herself. After a short while the water steamed from the kettle, the elf maiden walked towards the stove and carefully lifted the handle with a cloth. Already in her cup the sweet thistle tea became a mass of brown aroma and taste. Water poured over ground, the last drop came forth, and Oneille set to work letting it cool.nn"If there is one luxury I can afford peace in tea, " she sipped her tea quietly with Kim under the table watching her. nnnShe felt safe and secure now than from a few weeks ago. In the rush to have a marriage and become settled in, there had not been much time to think on her feet. Oneille watched the sunlight and realized it best she do some work. As she rose Oneille felt a sharp pain to her stomach. nn"Ahh, by the gods! What pain is this?" Oneille blushed maybe what she felt was the onset of mother nature pains. The pain became less as she moved to her bedroom preparing to dress. After her wardrobe change, Oneille made her way out fo the apartment and off to her archive office.

*Wednesday*nnOneille recovered from her illness. In sickness and in health Leothiel thought. This also made him concerned for his bouts of magic sickness he had after he went deep into arcane and exposure to the proximity of the Sunwell. "We need to see Xi'ri for his protection." Oneille looked at him and asked "What kind of protection?" "Protection by the light. Yogg-Saron has no hold over me because of him. Now, magic has attacked my own body twice, last of which was one week before our wedding. One was from the shock of going arcane combined with the Sunwell. The recent was from exposure to proximity of the Sunwell." Leothiel knew that Moonwell Water could no longer save him. The couple left Shattrath and headed to Shadowmoon Valley. Though Illidan's minions in the temple were dead, it was the Burning Legion they were up against.nnThe Lord and Lady Frosthawk approached Xi'ri. They both put down their weapons and knelt before the being of pure light. Leothiel spoke up: "You have given my mind protection from the Old Gods. However, I ask for additional protection of not just myself but my house that has yet to be built." The naaru filled the couple with ray of light which spoke to them at the same time but they both received different messages.nnSon of the Highborne, Xi'ri thought, Your magic makes you powerful yet it also attacks you. Go and make peace with the Sunwell, the redeemed lifesource of the children of the Highborne. Leothiel tried to use his mind to speak to Xi'ri about the Sunwell. The only thing he could hear from the naaru was Make peace with the Sunwell. After some time, the couple thanked Xi'ri. Leothiel felt more despondent.nnThe couple stole off to a secluded pool in Nagrand to talk and go for a swim before turning in for the night. They brought up the paper found in what was his father's trunk. Leothiel would go to Dire Maul to research the ones who were at the top of the list. Oneille would research the names at the bottom of the list in Silvermoon the next day. When they arrived back in Silvermoon, Leothiel had another thing on his mind: Binding Azureus to Oneille as a secondary. "Haleh is still loyal to the Lifebinder and she would have to be the one to bind him to you. We would have to make an appointment." Leothiel wrote a note, attached it to Azureus and sent him on his way. Oneille giggled "You send him everywhere." Leothiel chuckled "He can go anywhere."nn*Thursday morning*nnLeothiel and Oneille departed with their lists while Leothiel made his way to Dire Maul with his father's trunk.nn((This is the prologue to an upcoming thread that tells Leothiel's family history.))

*Silvermoon City, early morning*nn"I doubt one bout of nausea is enough to be considered pregnancy, child," the female healer put away her reagents returning to smile sweetly at Oneille. nn"Would such nausea come from stress?" Oneille inclined her head to the healer who solemnly nodded.nn"It's the practical reasoning I'd assume. Most times stress and worry equal a large dose of upset stomach," the healer reached for a nearby brown bottle on her desk. "Here, inside this bottle is a mixture of herbs and their strained juices that when taken before bed should do the trick."nnOneille watched as the healer handed over the concoction now given to her. Nothing too grand about a glass brown bottle, whose contents were hard to see through the darkness off its container. Healer Minae assured her the herb mixture would ease her stress. Minding her own fears, Oneille thanked the healer and began on her way to the archives.nn*Silvermoon Archives, Oneille's Office*nn"So in conclusion there are several houses registered under that line in his family," Duglin Wingfire smirked at Oneille.nnAfter the mishandling work of Litrette, Oneille's previous page, Duglin was a step up and better in his methods of research. Oneille smiled as she took a sip of her green herb tea. She eyed the young page and smiled, "Good, now comes the hardest part: finding out more about 'those' houses." One more sip of green herb tea and Oneille rose from her chair. She handed over a parchment with the found family names and sent forth her page to research them further. nnDuglin bowed humbly, a smirk forming on his face, "Don't get too confident page, I am watching you." The young page blushed then headed out to do his work.nnOneille was pleased with her new page and began to put him to use. The rest of the morning the elf warlock researched, keeping her head stuck in the parchments before her.

"Elves, the most peculiar of all the Azerothian races. Their legacy is stepped in magic, warfare, and attunement to the world about them. Several loremasters agree that elves in their most primitive forms could have descended from those trolls that exposed themselves to the Well of Eternity. Both trolls and elves have structures and cultures on both sides of the broken continent, could such ruins be testament to the claims?"nnThe passage from the book greatly interested Oneille. It was morning and busily Oneille read through a number of tomes dedicated to loremasters and researchers from over centuries ago. The information therein boggled the elf maiden's mind. She sighed closing the leatherbound book, her eyes drooped as the next tome lay under the previous one. It seemed that Duglin put too much effort into the task, but it proved noteworthy. nn"Enough for now, these family lines are unrealisitic, I do believe Duglin researched the names wrong. At any rate my page is proving himself."nnOneille took a sip from her tea and ginerly she enjoyed it's warmth. The herb mixture from the healer worked wonders as well. No more stomach aches and more energy to boot! Elsewhere in the world at Dire Maul was Leothiel studying and researching. What crossed Oneille's mind was becoming bound to Azureous and learning how to scryer his scales. nn"Hmm, I wonder what scale scryering is like?" she mused as another sip of tea passed over her lips.
