Asarelah heard a hissing in her ear…. “Wake… waaake up Lah… neeeeed…. We neeeed you… Commmmeeee..” The sound had the flavor of death... Howling... ???

As she roused, Lah finally recognized the voice slithering up at her through her hearth stone.

Warzen!!

Shaking out the cobwebs from her sleep encrusted mind, Lah touched her stone, and sent back. “I do not know HOW on this earth you could rouse me. What need is so great that you could not let me slip away, Warlock !!??"

“Cooommeeee, I shaaalll pull you to meeee. The waaarrrr, all areee neeededdd,” was his only reply.

A cold icy touch dragged her from the comfort of her bed, and she appeared before a host of Nyxian riders somewhere in the Black Rock Mountains, Warzen standing at their lead.

“RIDEeeee!” was his only order, and ride she did, following the war band.

It was not long before they were confronted with the body of the Kingship, the King himself at the head. And it was nearly over before it even began; one moment her healing touch keeping her comrades alive, the next moment curled unconscious on the ground. The last thing she recalled, before appearing in the shadow world, was King Hinik moving toward her, with what looked very much like a skinning knife clutched in his hand.

Asarelah spent much time in the shadow world, watching the King’s riders. She saw the Kingship's might arrayed before her, also supported by their comrads from Riders and Republic.

They milled about here and there, first gloating over Warzen’s cold corpse.

Then finally the host came to rest gathered around her still, cold unresponsive form.

Touching her heart stone, she sent word: "My hide has been taken... by the King himself...."

It was trap of course, the Matron knew.

A sizable Kingship army had placed itself upon the Assembly's head quarters in Fray Island. The past two days, they had been lead into traps of a similar nature near Blackrock Mountain. The smaller assembled forces desired to attack this Army head on. However, Lois knew that such an endeavor was suicide. The Kingship were well fortified and prepared for any assault they could muster on such short notice.

The Mad King had made yet another tactical error however. In his ambitions, the King had positioned all of his forces, allies and all, into a point lacking in any strategic value. Fray Island was no symbol of the Horde merely a building in which they gathered to discuss things. The mad man at the helm of their ship had essentially steered them into an dead end yet again.

"We will strike Menethil and Westgaurd," declared the Matron to the assembled forces, "in his stupidity, the Mad King has allowed his bases of operation to be exposed. Let us burn their precious keep, both of his keeps, to the ground this day while he wastes his time on Fray Island."

Once the troops were in agreement, the group set off to Arathi and rode to Menethil, laying waste to everything and tossing stone-fire bombs to destroy even the stone structures.

Guards scrambled to defend the keep but they were no match for the fury of the Horde Assembly's strike force.

After Menethil was left a smoldering ruin, the army marched on towards Westguard via a Hijacked Alliance steam boat.

Once at Westguard, the squad of soldiers unleashed a fury which none would escape. Every soul that did not run away fast enough or hid was slain.

When scouts at last reported the Kingship was en-route to their location, the team teleported out, but not before desecrating the Mad King's home and razing it to the ground as well.

The Matron looked out at the assembled soldiers and smiled. This day they hoped to teach the mad King the true meaning of "strategy."

The turncoats in the Venom Dynasty held a party in Fairbreeze. Leothiel has been suspect of them since their defection from the Alliance even though some of their Matron's pronouncements about Hinik's character grabbed his attention. Matron Vlasha had advocated genocide in the and turned this event into another opportunity to further it. Even Lord Vindicator Jeriden Dawnbringer could not bring her to reason. This solidified Leothiel's view towards the Matron of the snake cult: Vengeance is her real name and existence and there is no real pride for the Horde in her. Leothiel made motions of washing his hands and approached Jeriden.

"I have had enough of this discussion on genocide. How about if we step out and talk about something a bit more relaxing."

Jeriden replied "About what?"

"About whom, actually. Oneille. I think your Lady should join us as well."

I awoke in the grass near the mages crystal in crystalsong forest..Omorinsawe was shaking me awake.."Wiind...Wiind! wakeup...ugh, she shouldnt have came to this place knowing she could be injured severely by the animals or worse the alliance crawling around here..WIIND!!!!" She hollered at me.

I wake, stammering "what ..who..oh earthmother! what happened did i pass out???"
"None of that now!!" she says tapping me with her diamond tipped cane in the arm..."wait till you hear what i have to tell you!!!"
Omorinsawe jumps up and down with glee clapping her hands at Wiindriider, " I just came from Fairbreeze and mom and dad (Asarelah & Jeridan) were there talking with the Ambassador Leothiel...something is definately up with those two! heeheee!!! I think dad wants Leo to marry Oneille!! I don't know the details as I was too far from the hills where they spoke, my guess is that is what they were talking about...OOO! wouldn't that be wonderful??? eeeee!!"

Omorinsawe was excited to think that the possibility of the match was being made and had to tell her sister, beaming with her usual fiery glow... I replied to her..
" don't be so quick to make that assumption..I have seen Leothiel and he has indeed become fully enamoured with our lovely sister and I hope your assumptions are correct or you're gonna get a nasty lashing from mom stirring up your usual trouble....." *thinks of a mad Asarelah and cowers in fear*

"Pfft!" Omo raises an eyebrow, grinning wickedly.." how many times have i been wrong in observations?? You'd better get back up to the city and go find Onielle and tell her before I do!..I know you don't like me to send my imp after you!" she whines tapping the cane on the ground irritating me somewhat. "I tell you Omo - watch your step, you make rumours way too much and I can see that your friend Haris Pilton is really changing you too much! Moms watching you!!" I warn her as she runs off to the crystal...she turns and says "Oh..by the way..If you see Hinik around, let him know that have a appointment with his face and my cane!" she vanished in a blue glow back to Dalaran I assumed to stir up trouble in the city as usual.

"What a spoiled brat...." I grumble as i ponder the news she has told me....

I return to Dalaran and head to the portals where i run into Oneille..
"umm Oneille...I have some strange news you may want to hear about".....

Standing at the portals Oneille was pondering what city to choose. There were no pressing matters to attend to in Ogrimmar and Undercity well...it's easy to travel there from Silvermoon...ah yes! Home! Silvermoon!

Before Oneille could move another inch there was a strong grasp about her person. Freezing in place the warlock began to warm her hands with her felfire magic only to hear a silent purr. Alarm settling down to a simmer Onei turned about noticing the ever chipper and loving sister druid Wiindriider beside her.

"Sister!" in no fashion of her own Oneille hugged back the druidess smiling from ear to ear. There was no greater love than seeing a family member even in these troubled times.

"Greetings sister," hailed Wiindy.

"Bal'a dash Wiindy. How are you?" Fel tinged eyes eyed the druidess as she produced a strange device that was remiescent of what most others in the guild have been using. This Gnomish device apparently had been used to capture a small get together of family and friends of Nyx and others.

"I am good still mending over being through a few scraps with the Alliance and caring for my kodo." Oneille smiled at her sister then commented on whether the creature had a name or not...supposedly "Blue" was choosen but perhaps not.

"Though I did manage to sneak pictures and information in regards to mother and father (Asarelah and Jeriden) talking and there was made mention of Leothiel and you." Wiindy grinned wide as she relayed what was told to her.

"Me and Leothiel..in what way?" quirking a feathered brow the female elf stood there confused.

"I think that it's about something big!" Wiindy seemed to want to tell the whole happenings but she held back.

"Sister! Whatever it is don't spoil it...I'd rather be left guessing then perhaps be told otherwise!" giggling Oneille shook her head and smiled at her sister.

"Wiindy I love you but I best get going there are matters to attend to in Silvermoon. " with that both sisters hugged with little more than giggles and snickers between them.

*The day after Leo asked Oneille to marry him*

Leothiel had one restless night. He finally fell asleep right before sunrise and woke up two hours later with a splitting headache. He knew it was time to get up and move. So much had been on his mind since his appointment to Nightwarder of war. His marriage proposal to Oneille and her subsequent acceptance now occupied a new place in his thoughts. A little bite of some food calmed down his headache to where he could organize his thoughts. War with Kingship, father's pilgrimmage, Oneille.. he thought. She needs to be first in that list. He went to the writing desk, pulled out some parchment and a quill and started an outline of a long-overdue report that the Oracle Aitana had requested.

....Genocide....

The word made the paladin's skin crawl. Genocide? Had it really come to that? The Dynasty was suggesting exactly that: A genocide on the alliance. The very idea caught like wildfire among some of the others present.

Yes, it was war - there were many atrocities in war. Far many he had seen with his own two eyes in his lengthy service through three of them.

The paladin made his viewpoint known, and Leothiel seemed to share it. In his mind, war was a game for soldiers... and not so much the civilians caught in the middle.

But to extinguish a race to the last of their line? Was that really what was required?

Jeriden hoped they had not quite sunk to the Scourge's level of reasoning, yet.
