Also posted on the Emerald Dream server forums:
<Bladefist> welcomes its Horde brothers and sisters to participate in its first-ever Battle Royal at Gurubashi Arena on Sunday, July 20, at noon server time.
Participants will descend to the blood-soaked arena floor to do battle each other in a hopefully massive free-for-all PvP extravaganza. We will cram as many warriors as we can find into the pit for the amusement of everyone participating and watching.
Noncombatants are welcome to observe the brawls from the relative safety of the arena bleachers, but we will not be held liable for errant spells or misplaced projectiles. For combatants, the rules are simple in that the last one alive wins.
For betting warriors, we will offer the option of a paid-entry free-for-all, with entrants paying five gold a piece to a neutral party, who will then give the amassed sum to the winner after completion of the match. Noncombatants are encouraged to make their own wagers with one another if they so desire, however these side-bets will not be moderated by <Bladefist>.
With enough participation, we will also be arranging freak matches, two-on-ones, tag-teams, fist fights and more.
Able non-combatants may be asked to cart lifeless bodies out of fighting area, and to help raise the dead.
We hope to see you there.
Bring your own booze and women.
(All members of Nyx are cordially invited to attend! That is, if you're looking for something to do other than grind :P Whisper me in game or send me a mail for details. Hope you see some of you there!)

I would love to attend however I have duties to attend to for the druids in Moonglade at that time.
(( This sounds like fun, but I don't get home until 2:30 p.m. server time at the earliest on Sundays. This particular Sunday I'm going out to lunch with a friend to celebrate my birthday. ))

Why not offer the masses cake as well? Really, Agax, I can't think of a more barbaric way to waste an afternoon. As I would not be participating in the unmitigated brawling, you would have that I, Bael'spar "Guardian Fist" Mon'tisto, Light of the Sun's Fury, Hero of the Sin'dorei, Master Elvish Engineer, Lord of the Dance, Keeper of the 7 Secrets of Lavish Poverty, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera; should lower myself to the undignified role of trundling away the unwashed corpses of fallen warriors?!?! This insult is unbearable, and I refuse to attend this event.
GOOD DAY, SIR!
((It sounds like a great time, but I will be at work, and Bael will be preening. I wish that I could be there. I hope that tons of fun-loving folk show up for this.))
