Low level mean no RP? I think not, good sir.

Postby Linwa » Sat Dec 20, 2008 7:33 am

Hey guys... why is there a dancing butt? :ass:

Eh hem, anyway, just poking in. I really want to get my way into role playing my character. And leveling. (I don't know why some people can't do both at the same time *rolls eyes*)

However, everyone seems to be hanging in Northrend. Which is cool, I completely understand. Its so neat there, Blizzard did a good job.

But.. well, I'm stuck in Azeroth and haven't been able to meet a lot of characters face-to-face. I'd love to meet people during an instance or a quest. I really hate tavern-rp. Domesticated, yes; tavern, not so much.

However, I've no intention of taking anyone away from Northrend. But if you guys get bored and want a change of scenery while you grind, poke me on AIM. It's in my profile. I don't like to RP in game unless it's face-to-face, otherwise AIM is great for easily setting a scene. I especially love how you can create your own places.

Eh, I guess I'm pretty particular with my RP. I want it to be real for my character and it doesn't do to just randomly 'run into someone and expect them to run an instance without prior consulting.' Um, I was spoiled on FFXI, I guess, with a top notch RP guild.

Maybe someone could show Linwa the guild hall. If there is one? *shrugs* I also have an alt/second main (haven't decided on who I want to level) that might be fun to chat with, too... if you don't mind ANOTHER Blood elf. >.>

Pip-pip, cheerio.

We do have weekly RP events that are only occasionally "Tavern RP." I'm always trying to brainstorm creative things to do that involve DOING something, rather than just sitting around chatting. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

I entered this guild as a fresh level 22. I am talking new-to-the-server 22. The RP events have been very accomodating to low levels. One time, we took some 40s into Tyr's Hand, which is a 56+ elite zone, for an RP event.

Yeah the events are great, the last guild meeting I remember was over in Fairbreeze Village in Eversong Woods(Maybe it was the meeting before the last meeting). So stick around and you'll see some fun and some interesting stuff! :)

I used to RP on AOL, so I got used to the chat-room(tavern-based) type RP. I wasn't much a fan of RP via IM because usually there wasn't a whole lot of different personalities in the RP. I do remember one friend of mine who has an AOL/AIM guild still up. If I remember right its called "The Gargoyle Gazette".

EDIT: I was kinda thinking... maybe we should have a page that has a li'l chat room or something... I used to use Meebo for the chat room back when I managed the Revenant Souls' GuildPortal site. That way we can shoot the breeze and whatnot while we wait in 500+ queues this winter break, lol. >.<

I'm not trying to complain. ^.^; I just realized, lately, mostly when I'm online I'm on my alt. Yeah, that keeps me in touch. *slaps self* When I'm on Linwa, though, everyone's 70 or higher. ;p I must miss the low level times.

And my job is finally starting, so now I'm tired. Whoo, aren't I a hypocrit? I haven't been on due to that. Sorry. >.< We're opening a new hotel, lots to do.

Hehe, I used to feel the same way back when(pre-BC times) I was in <Darkclaw Tribe>, cause all my friends and everyone else in the guild that would sign on would be at Lvl 60 or close to it. I hope that the level difference doesn't discourage you any. I'm sure you'll begin to see more people soon! :)

I'm also leveling through Azeroth at the moment, but will be in BC soon. I am always up for some fun. :)

I do have a storyline I am working on, and planning on implementing it into my gameplay soon. I also have missed out a lot on the weekly events, due to my schedule. I plan on hosting an event once I get all the details down.
