Perspective is Everything
Cheater?!nnCHEATER, he said!!!nnHow DARE this waste of air call me a cheater!!nnBlindness! Stupidity! False beliefs!nnThis fit of rage poured itself out like the river or red from the human whelp sprawled out before me. My rage burned the cold out of my body, despite the sleet and snow. The Paladin's last choice of words still rang through my ears... how DARE he call me a cheater! Were he not fortunate enough to be dead already, I would spare his life for hours of torture to follow! The bastard had the nerve to claim that my years of training and practice was 'unfair' and 'unrighteous'. It is so APALLING that his own beliefs contradict himself and yet he has the sheer NERVE to claim I don't deserve honor because of my fighting methods?!nnI spat upon his bloodless corpse. ((bring it, Aitana :P))nnAll his 'glory' and 'righteousness' could not spare him, nor manage to do more than bruise me. The fool even expected me to allow him to stand once he fell from the weight of his own ridiculous metal scraps he wore on his bulky and oh so 'strong' body.nnFEH!nnI walked away, hoping the fool would be scraped up by Arthas' ghouls and reanimated to walk all eternity as a rotting version of the fool he is. In fact, it may even serve to do him better than before those few seconds he had left once he challenged me. I strode away, still pissed mind you, with the satisfaction of knowing the weakling would forever have my visage engraved into his mind as the last thing he ever saw.nnPaladins... the clergy gives any fool these days a weapon and tells them their 'beliefs' will be their power. Fitting that most of them end up like this chump, awaiting reanimation into what they consider their 'mortal enemy'. They oughta look into themselves, past the arrogance of the 'Light' and 'Justice' they think they serve and discover what they really are: Meatsacks with metal skin, an oversized clunky weapon that looks like it should be chopping wood, and the power to conjure pretty yellow light to help aid in the illusion that they're a 'true hero'.nnIgnorant whelps... more than half of them aren't even out doing 'good' things. What kind of belief is this? Human, Sin'dorei, Dwarf, Squid-faces.. they're all the same. All running around abusing power from a belief that was long forgotten. They're priests in warrior's skin but without the prowess of even those meatheads.nnSo what are priests? Simply mages that learned to manipulate pretty lights. I question not their healing prowess... but their methods of manipulating this 'Light' that is supposedly 'good and right'. Such garbage! It does not surprise me that the Alliance has mutated into the rabble of thugs and self-righteous bullies that they are. And now that the 'blood knights' have mastered the human's 'belief', we use their own righteousness against them.nnFunny how life works huh?nnSo what of the mages? Aren't they cheaters too, by the beliefs of the 'holy' ones? They manipulate the elements and the weave that surrounds them in order to combat their foes- often to devestating effect. Mages must start young and -believe- they can do such things. Seems that only loonies can attain such things then, eh? Those that believe they can set fire to their foes with their mind power are surely crazy after all. Good on them, I suppose.. though they themselves have little balance. Too much reliance on magic can, has, and will defeat the person carrying said magic. Hell, just look at our race... hedonistic weaklings that become panicked weaklings in fashionable robes once they are disallowed their spells.nnWarlocks are an enormous step up to those mages though, I must say. They offer themselves, body, heart, and sometimes soul over to a true, higher power. But to what end? They hope to maintain control over other beings that would prefer to wear the warlock's skin any given time of the day... most don't make it far enough to make their first pact with a truly powerful demon.. I cannot imagine they ever sleep soundly, knowing the deals they make for their dark power. They sacrifice themselves for a chance at power, or become possessed (and inevitably hunted down by zealots of the Light. Dog eat dog..). They are fools without the truth of self in the end.nnTruth... it is the ultimate belief, yes.. it is what I follow, despite the assumptions of closed-minded fools. Truth of the Self.. knowing all of ones' capabilities and weaknesses- expounding the strengths and carefully evading the weaknesses. It was a warrior that taught this, no? Orcish too, I believe. This belief has spread throughout the noble warriors of the Horde and ultimately, allowed them to not only survive, but thrive. ...I fear it is slowly a diminishing belief.nnThe bitter wind carried the stench of death to me. I knew what was to occur next out here.. the snowy winds covered and concealed my body as my rage cooled into reflective, logical thought. I waited patiently, as I knew I needed to become the balance of power once again.nnI recalled my battles up until now as I waited. Remembering often times where I would fight Orc, then Human, then Night Elf... few were worthy of a warrior's death. Fewer exist now it seems.... the ideals of nobility and honor are indeed slipping from us. Even amongst the Horde. It pains me to know this... if we become the Alliance with green skin, I'm going to have to simply disband and hope that like-minded individuals would do the same. No sense in being led blindly by those who do not possess true honor.nnThey began to creep upon me quickly. I heard grunting, moaning, clawing, and bone upon bone.. Had to be about 7 of them. I heard them scoop up the fallen Fooladin and begin chanting what could have only been a reanimation spell. I decided to emerge.nnI think they were appalled that I would walk so calmly to them. Indeed there were seven- eight now if you count the newly risen one who slowly turned its head to me and groaned, hobbling toward me as best as a corpse with blade-ripped tendons can.nn"A zombie of all things? I had hoped you would have restored his memory at least - he's quite fond of me you see. Sadly, that you could only raise him as one of the mindless proves your own powers, though I admit the look suits him better now."nnMy hands lovingly embraced the worn handles of my blades. They all ran towards me, the fools. I will not bore you with the details, but let it suffice to say that burnt corpses are scarcely a problem that can rise again. I let the paladin 'live'. I led him to the edge of the cliffside overlooking an Alliance encampment. I quickly dodged his clumsy attack (that armor does little justice to the undead, I must say) and countered with a kick down the cliff. I threw a horde medallion onto the back of his head which stuck nicely once he smashed against some rocks on the way down.nnThey'll find the corpse before long. With any luck, they'll save their 'elite' members for more useful things like fighting Arthas.. though I've no doubt Wrynn has other dim-witted things in mind against the Horde. With any luck, if they do try to kill me again, they'll send an honorable combatant worth the effort to fight and perhaps even die to. With any luck, it'll be a mage who prefers launching fireballs... it does get truly cold at night out here.nn"There is no truth in the 'Light'", I reasoned to myself as I walked on. "Nor is there truth in utter darkness, only mystery and the hedonism of lies. Truth lies only within the thread that separates both light and darkness- the thread that is capable of witnessing both light and dark for all its worth. Good or bad."nI nodded my head in affirmation. This is truth.nnMay we all find what is True.nnnn-T
How exactly can a rogue 'stealth' in a field of untouched white snow?
Please... if you were a rogue, you'd know that you can use your blackened soul to conceal you even in blazing light.
And here you thought rogues were just thugs with knives.

((Sorry... it's just a tiny burst of the writer inside of me that wanted to come out and play. Just imagine it as a scrap of his journal or something- it's a view through his eyes on things. Not exactly something to start a war, I think but do with it what you will. I'm sure he's pissed off enough people to start off a war somewhere..nnAlso, take this for what it's worth - many, many of you don't even know about tsaphaan nor have rp'd with him. He won't be found in a city if he can help it, unless it's under attack))
