Hello Nyx. Not sure if anyone I remember is still around but way back in the day (most of it pre-Burning Crusade) I was in Nyx and played an insane undead rogue named Naught. Just wondering how everyone has been and what the old Nyx has been up to the last couple of years. Cheers!

I remember you although I wasn't in Nyx at the time. I met you on my alt Jemmali in Feralas when you were on one of your alts (Jikara?). Glad you stopped by!

I remember you Jemmali! I also noticed Warburn and Tomoyo were still around both of whom I remembered. Yup, Jikara was my alt but is now my main and currently over on Twisting Nether. How has the guild been since I moved off server?

Warburn and Tomoyo are both still around and have risen to the rank of Oracle. Tomoyo isn't around as much because of work and he is heading out of the country to visit his girlfriend. Much has changed; I have a feeling that the way Nyx is now might be a lot different from the Nyx you remember, but I can't be certain since I wasn't in Nyx at the time. You might remember Foxx, Elidore, Aitioi/Lanite, Tenbones, Eyesore, Rekeme, Terpsicore, and Ahandai from the old days. They all were in Nyx before me. Foxx left before I joined, but he came back recently. Unfortunately none of them are very active on the forums. I think most of the other people that are active now joined after I did.nnThe departure of Khallah and Wakanda was hard on Nyx. It went down hill for months and was struggling. I was the GM of a small RP guild and we ended up merging with Nyx. Immediately before the merge Nyx typically had about 3-5 people on line during peak hours. The merge worked out well, and Nyx went through a period of rebuilding. We started raiding again in January 2008. nnSince then Nyx has had its ups and downs, but for the most part has been fairly stable. We have been running around 180 accounts since I joined Oct. 31, 2007. As of today according to warcraftrealms.com about 109 of the 323 toons in the guild are active. From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. server time we typically have 20 - 30 members on line. Overall we've been making steady, although slow, progress through end game content. PvP and RP have been very active. The highlight of our RP-PvP this last year was a couple epic sagas we did with <Alshar lo Dorano>. Overall Nyx is doing very well.

Hearing that the guild is doing so well makes me really happy to hear especially considering the last time I'd really been around was after the Avarice incident when he disbanded the guild one day without reason. Wooo... actually this all makes makes me smile and now I'm tempted to either pick Naught back up or roll up a DK (a class I still have yet to play).
