Journal page 348, Beullah Wintersgate

(a post and pictures for my new character, Beullah Wintersgate)nnImagenMy last sight of the maunterynnJournal page 348, Beullah WintersgatennWell I'm just gettin settled down here at the Inn in the city of Orgrimar. It's dreadful sunny here, and the brightness is remindin' me strong of the fires. I'm pinnin' an image of the mauntery I took from the woods below as I got down the mountain here, right below this writing. Those men from town that started the fires ain't ne'er gonna leave that place alone now that they know we were there, so there won't be any goin' back to that place or the mountains- I might as well get used to'it. That kind troll thats been buyin' herbs from the sisterhood for the past few years (I've mentioned her before) had heard the mauntery was bein' burnt and she came in the night lookin' for any of us that had gotten out. She found me on the road, brought me here to this city, and I can't help but be grateful, dreadful hot as it is here. nnI already miss the mauntery and the other sisters badly though. I reckon those men felt they had a right to come burn the sanctuary and put us out of our misery once they got to hearin' we was forsaken. Still I ne'er thought they'd come. I don't rightly know how long ago it was that the plague started in on us all, but my land, it had to be quite some time ago. I've seen some of the town folk grow from saplings to trees since I been up there, and ain't ne'er heard a bit of trouble from none of them until now. There was always rumors, but I figured s'long as we kept sending preserves and meats down the mountain to the hungry, we'd never get any trouble from them. I thought they ne'er suspected, what with the way we all covered up in our robes and the like, and the strong smell of the flowers and herbs from the gardens so strong in the air. Well, I reckon that is all in the past now, and not worth puttin' ink to paper o'er any longer. nnWell back to now, it seems I've come to join a new order here in the city, one the troll lady Miss Swanthula belongs to... a right odd bunch that follow a goddess of some sort. I reckon it's as good a place as any to hang my hat for the time bein', and I rightly don't think I'll make it on my own anymore without some decent strong folk beside me. There ain't much to lose by joining them I figure, and wherever the road takes me now, only time knows. I'll try and write more in a few moons time, but I'm pinnin' the last images I gathered before the fire took most of everyhtin' here for safe keeping for now.nnImage
