Veil of Shadow: Let the true Light trespass.

Postby Linkan » Wed Jun 18, 2008 12:14 am

It never occured my head to exaust this matter, however, considering so many mislead information is disciminated, specially from corruptors from Massive Mojo, as a representative of the Blood Knight Order from Silvermoon, I came in public to explain why now Sin'dorei allows Warlocks and have paladins fighting side by side.

As many of you know, Blood Knights are often mistaken by "Paladins", majorly due to our similarity on wielding "holy" magic. And any "proximity" we share ends there.

In theory, as humans, dwarves and dreanai are taught, they must worship and uphold "The Light" in every action they take, always acting honorably and courageously. Never striking when someone is down, never resourcing to "unsavory" methods like Poison or Guns.

Always keeping a clean fight, and only if necessary. Otherwise, Light would abandon them.

History states otherwise. How many episodes in our recent time Alliance acted as if they please, breaking treaties, long time alliance or simple courtesy?
Have the "Silver Hand" (one of the Alliance paladin's order) issued any disaproval?
Instead, they supported it and send their "paladins" to fight in their front line.

No need to remember, for thousands of years Humans and Sin'dorei (formely known as Quel'dorei) were allied. We taught them how to wield magic. Without us, their paladins, mages, priests, wouldnt never exist.
And when uncalled disaster hit Silvermoon what do they do? Betray us. And where were the paladins?
Hiding in their castles, eating their "tax paid" food? Pretend they didnt see it?
This isnt the only abominable act Paladins had undertaken. Just one of many example.

And had they loose their powers? Had Light drifted away from their spells and encantantions? No. It all stays the same.

We came to realize that "Light" is just a power, such is Fire, Arcane... or Shadow. That is the reason we are not only the true masters of "The Light", but also can understand and accept Warlocks among our ranks.
It is simplistic to assume all warlocks are evil and just pursue personal gain. Most are good people, good scholars, that only consider Arcane and Frost magic trivial.

There is no difference between Blood Knights and Warlocks. We just control different schools of magic.
But there is a huge gap between Blood Knights and Paladins.
We are not some blinded faith, stuck to old traditions... nor we "stole" the Light. Sin'doreis understand Light way before paladins even existed.

Free willed, lead by taste of vengeance against our betrayed and the scourge/Burning Legion, trully worried with the future of the good people of Quel'thalas, are the reasons that a Blood Knight set foot in battle.

Mur'mur was just a catalyst to regain control of our lost power. Being abruptly cutted off from our source did us no good.
There is no remorse in taking under our control an open support of Dreanai, part of the Alliance.

This veil of shadows of lies spread out among the horde must be cut. Light and Shadows is just a source of energy. And our true motivations are by far more sincere than paladins.

I hope this helped to bring some "light" to your mind.

Regards,
