We would like to share some things about the Tribe before we move on to the final phase of your application process.nnPlease read ALL of the following information. You WILL be quizzed on this reading. Stand ready to answer all questions regarding this Phase Two document.nnFirst and foremost, Nyx is a Role Playing Guild. While we are heavily involved in both PvP and PvE Raiding, our first Love, and our Lore is heavily wrapped around the Role Play that you will find throughout our Forums. Each player has to find their own comfort level. If you choose not to participate as heavily as some do, then we simply ask that you treat others with respect in their chosen Role Play style.nnCHATTINGnFor the most part, Raid, Guild, and Party chat are primarily OOC (out of character). However, many of us remain IC (in character) no matter where we are, or what we are doing. Public demonstrations of any kind are expected ALWAYS to be in character. IF you are wearing a Nyxian insignia above your head, you represent us, and we expect you to act accordingly in your public conduct, whether in say, yell, emote, etc.nnCODE OF CONDUCTnPlease READ the Nyxian Code of Conduct at http://thenyx.org/?page_id=18.nThere are a few things we would like to emphasize, as there are many things common among gamers that are not acceptable to Nyxians. This is not limited to, but includes:n1. Language: Use of foul language (words such as “rape” or “gay”, etc.) is not appreciated and will bring immediate offense.n2. Respect: Use of any form of racial slur (reality based), gender or sexual preference stereotypes , or other hurtful or non PC words is not acceptable in any form or context. (This precludes appropriate role play while in a PvP venue against an Alliance adversary, in game.)n3. Honorable PvP: We do not condone ganking lowbies out doing their dailies just because you can. What that means is that our Tribe is in the top 20 of Emerald Dream Raiding guilds in Membership, Gear Score and Instances full cleared. Our present PvE Raiding venue includes up to 10M ICC, 10M / 25M ToC, 10M / 25M Ulduar, and 10M / 25M Naxxramas and Vault; with numerous raids scheduled each week - and is flexible based on membership demand. nnOur Raid Leaders WILL require the following add ons, if you choose to participate in Guild Raids:n nOmen, and DeadlyBossMods or BigWigs (which can all be downloaded at WowMatrix: http://www.wowmatrix.com/addons/ or Curse: http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/default.aspx).nnVentrilo (which can be downloaded at http://www.ventrilo.com). You are not required to talk, but you must be able to hear the Raid Leader’s instructions.nnRaids are noted on the in game calendar, where all sign ups are done, and you must sign up there to participate in Nyxian Raids. Raid times are ALWAYS ST (Server Time) or CST (Central Standard Time).nnNyxian Raids are called up 15 to 30 minutes before start time, and you must be ready, or be replaced. Guild sponsored 10M runs are managed by a Master Looter, whose word is final. Guild sponsored 25M runs are managed by a Master Looter on a plus 1 system. Joint Guild Runs (for instance Nyx and Iron Serpents in 25M Vault or Naxx) are managed by a Loot Council whose word is final.nnROLLSnMain set rolls are called first. If no one rolls for main set, then Off set/RP set rolls are called. If no one rolls for Off/RP set, then the item is typically DE’ed or if BoE then sent to the Guild Bank for later use. If a person wins a Main set item, then they are asked to pass on the next Main set item, unless no one else wants it for Main.nnWORLD AT WARnIn closing, we would also like to point out that due to the nature of our on going RP story line, in conjunction with our PvP (Ward of War) activities (links for both listed below), we are heavily immersed in an active war with several guilds of the opposing faction. Fighting mid field in WSG, Zerging in an AV without understanding why you back track and recap towers, Standing at the Gates of WG while others do all the work are unacceptable you should know what your doing.nnWORK TOWARDS GEAR AND GEARING UP - You should be striving to gear up at all times there is no reason for a pvp not to have pvp gear as long as we see u working we have no issues.nnMINIMUM ICC-5 Weapons and Trinkets - These are semi easily attained and can be run every day if you actually try.nnThese are the current standards - As you can see the bar is set low if you do not meet this minimum standard you are out. Because this is the start and its only going to get harder.nnAlso - Know your flight points and summoning stones - The World is large and pvp happens at the drop of a hat if you don't have the FP to get somewhere when you are needed that is your own responsibility and you let down both Your teammates and your guild.

While if you are on stand-by it means we need to discuss your gear and how we can improve upon your chances of getting into ICC 25-man content.nnFor those not aware I demand the following things for all new and old raiders :n1. Top of the line enchants/gems/and glyphsn2. Repaired in all your gear don't come in with broken gearn3. Flasks, as in consumable that are ready to be used on the first pulln4. Once you are in Growth and Nourishment, you will be expected to continue to contribute to the guild by participating in the supportive activities as mentioned in our Mission Statement. This Ward is for Worker Bees who want to contribute to the guild in a selfless manner. We are not a waiting room for a more preferred Ward or a place to go just to avoid wardlessness. WARD OF LORE GUIDELINESnas of 20 August 2010nnChattingnThe Ward of Lore requires you to be fully In Character (( IC )) at all times when speaking in these channels ... /yell ... /say ... /guild ... Any emotes you use must also be In Character. Only one exception is allowed and that is when you have clearly defined yourself as being Out of Character (( OoC )) with out of character brackets.nnCode of ConductnAll members of the Ward of Lore need to be aware and respectful of EVERYONE'S RP, even the Alliance! This means that if you are contacted by an Alliance member and are informed that you are griefing their RP, you need to take a good strong look at the situation and evaluate whether or not you are griefing an RP session. If you are, STOP IT!nnThe Emerald Dream is an RPPvP server, which means PvP is GOING to happen. World PvP is rampant. But the Ward of Lore does not condone RP griefing of any kind what so ever. IF you are found to be RP griefing, it can result in a Ward kick. nnRequirementsnThe Ward of Lore has neither gear nor level requirements. All that We ask is that you lead through example.nnWhen in a large discussion in guild chat you must remain In Character and not let yourself get carried away in any Out of Character banter without using OoC brackets.
